Show us your Randalls

Thanks Dan, yeah, I couldn't put it down today. It was hard to choose between this and a model 1-8 that had the same hilt and finder groove stag. So I got this one and put the other on layaway!!

Does this count?

New scores from the traveling road show and two ring circus...they almost look like sammiches. Nom, now I'm hungry. :D

I dug mine out of storage so I could take some photos. The top one I bought new probably around 15 years ago, still has the original protective grease on the blade. The other 2 were users that I bought used. The finger grooves in that stag feel great to my hand.

Love the finger-grooved stag handle on the #3; the #5 is a classic; the #7 is screaming for use - you've done well!

A few new ones with options...
#3-7 Hunter with six options - stainless steel blade, nickel-silver hilt, finger-grooved Sambar stag handle, lanyard, and compass...
#25-6 Trapper with some nice options - stainless steel blade, nickel-silver hilt, and lanyard...a very pretty knife.
#1-8 All-Purpose Fighting Knife, fully decked out - stainless steel blade with saw teeth, nickel-silver hilt, metal spacers, and finger-grooved stacked leather handle.
#27 Trailblazer with options - stainless steel blade, nickel-silver hilt and end plate...another pretty knife.

I have a twin to the #1-8 above but with a black sheath, and another like it with a lanyard instead of saw teeth - two more #27's like the one above, and one with a #25 handle that is a match for the #25-6 above. It's been a busy month! :D

Just a quick rainy day pic of today's delivery...and part of my new 'matched set' hobby.

Matched Model #14 'Attack' with a stainless steel, saw tooth/no saw tooth blade grind, forward curved nickel-silver hilt, black Micarta handle, and black 'C' model sheath - with a new Non-Catalog full-tang Combat Companion model set up identically. They came out very nice! :D

And in keep with the theme, these arrived today as well...

RMK Model's #10-5 & #10-7 Salt Fisherman and Household Utility Knife - shop supplied red Micarta handles...very striking!

LOL, nope Dan, just redheads...they're a handful on their own... ;)

Silly me, I thought I had put this up here. Excuse the unimaginative pics, all I have at the moment.

12-13 "Raymond Thorp" bowie. Ray's 40ish, let his looks go a little....

Ray's back East, visiting the folks for a few weeks. Dad says with just a little polishing, he'll be more "presentable"

He'll also be wearing new shoes, don't want the first pair getting any more scuffed up than they already are.

Sorry, Ray ended up going to a new home. Fella really wanted it, turns out they were born the same time, and he passed up on one for college.

Now he has one.... :D

Hmmm, sounds like a travelin' man - so, once Ray heads west, what are the chances he'll soon be headed north? ;)

That is one incredible hunk of steel.

Most peeps don't know this as it's mis-filed in the Top Secret 'Alien Abduction' files, but Ray Thorp was a plank holder (charter member for the less informed) in the first Zombie Hunter kill team - most folks thought the team was hunting vampires, werewolves, and trolls...but that was just a cover for the real work at hand...

Anyhoo, um, er, that's the way I heard it from my moonshinin' cousin twice removed Billy-Joe-Bob...

p.s. Really cool Randall Made Model #12-13, RMK's largest, Alan...
