Show us your Randalls

Shel, if you send all but the leather handled knife to me, I wont be forced to call my judge friend and have you committed..........well if you were committed I could get your Randall collection that way too.......lol Great looking stag and I just love those cut finger grooves.

I'm not a big fan of the 1 but this one could change my mind quickly. That is really nice.

Yep, it was a nice one - that lasted 16 hours from posted to packaged...damn nice Randall knife on its way to Washington. :shame:

I'm not surprised. The coloring on the stag and the way it looks against the spacers and N/S is amazing. That is one of the nicest that I've seen.

It had a nickel-silver end plate too, a very 'handsome' Randall knife. I had two guys call about it today, "I was looking at it, where'd it go?" 'Washington State.' was my dead-panned response... ;)

I was wondering about the end plate. That makes 5 options right? I assumed it had to be optioned out.

Yes, that was five - but sometimes less will do. This one, for example, only has two options, and still turned out alright... :D

New forum member here and in a package I received from Captain was a RKCC membership application. Googled the club and now I'm here. Was an RKS member and was sad to see that go away as I loved the newsletters. Will be sending the club application in soon.

Anyhow, as I said, I just opened a box I've been looking forward to receiving and thought I'd share some pics of the knife I just received today.

Thanks again Captain--as I said, the Mission Memorial knife exceeds my expectations in every way. :)

Welcome 5001craig - wow, sweet knife! Thanks for the info on the RKCC too. :)

Thanks for the welcome Buds.

This is absoulutely the best day of my life. I got home after posting the above pics and had a notification about an insured package that tried to be delivered to my home today. I normally receive packages at work so this was a bit strange... At any rate, I went to the post office only to find a Randall I ordered five years ago! Two Randalls in one day!

Pics of knife tomorrow. And let me just say she's purdy. Not quite as cool as the Mission Memorial but really cool. I love picking the options...

I've been lucky enough to acquire two Randalls and I love them. My model 8 is strictly a user, though I've not had it very long so it doesn't show very much patina. It has only cut up a few trout… still waiting for its first whitetail. The model 14 was somewhat of an impulse buy and although it's a great knife, I just don't see myself using it due to its size. It's in the classifieds but the more I hold it - the more I want to keep it. If the blade was maybe 2" shorter it'd be perfect. Anyway, enough rambling… here are my pics!

If you like the model 14 but think the blade is too long, you should get yourself a model 15, the airman. It has a blade length of 5 1/2 inches and you can order it in the same configuration as your 14, or any number of ways.

Thanks Dan! That would be perfect! I posted it in the trade forum. It's a long shot but hopefully someone is looking to trade.

Got my first Randall Knife today, a Model 27 "Miniature trailblazer"

That is sooo cool, thanks for sharing it! I have three full-sized #27's with that handle syle, and a miniature scheduled to arrive with the first dealer orders in September - I hope my mini handle matches one of the full-sized versions. Good looking knife; if you don't mind my asking, how'd you get yours so quickly?

A raffle on another Randall forum. A dealer provided his from Blade for the raffle.
