Some of you know that I've had some really really unpleasant experiences over the last few months and I'll tell all of you that this experience with Jason and this knife is the most uplifting thing that's happened to me throughout my ordeal. What this man has done for me is beyond words. Having said that Jason, THANK YOU.

Wow! Signalprick Signalprick did an amazing job!
You have a beauty of a knife headed your way.:thumbsup:

It’s got a cool etch that would get lost, but that’s one that would look sweet with a dark patina to go with that micarta.

What's the color of that micarta Jason? Were the Stainless liners your idea or the customers?
It's a vintage brown canvas crosscut I purchased from Murphy Made Knives. The liners were my idea and the customer agreed to have me do them.

I just finished up the GEC #74 Mustang rebuild. For this one I made custom stainless steel liners. Covered it with a gorgeous vintage brown crosscut canvas micarta. The houndstooth shield is a creamy white paper micarta and the pins are all 410 stainless. The only thing I don't like about this knife is that it's not mine! Thanks for looking!

I don't think there's any room for improvement there Jason. The shield is a real standout and the stainless liners set off the covers nicely:thumbsup:

Hard to believe this is my first bone recover. Here's a GEC 92 with smooth giraffe bone covers, no shield in the works.
