It was a challenge but not much different than wood to be honest. I guess at this point I have enough general knowledge that the learning curve is much flatter.

I've heard snakewood cracks very easily, so maybe bone is easier than wood sometimes?

Thank you! I've decided I'm going to avoid doing stag with the recovers. I will be using it in the future when I transition to doing my own custom knives however.

A GEC 54 Big Jack spear blade lefty lightweight I just finished up. I took a minty fresh spear blade from a 54 and made a lightweight EDC out of it. Covered in natural tan canvas micarta with white g10 liners. The shield is an oval made from Jeep/Chrystler fordite. Pins are NS with the pivot enlarged to 1/8". Thanks for looking!
