They misspelled nutball but you get the idea.

I was looking for something else and totally found this. Quiet my ass (and still my beating heart)! :D

Alive and kicking, scales are trimmed down and all drilled, should be attaching them soon. I'll try and get some pictures up.

I don't think I could pick between these, the Blackwood is sleek with the nickel, the lines of the Bocote is gonna look nice and the colors in the Chechen shluld pop.

They all look great!! The blackwood with the current dark state of the blade looks"stealthy"! :D:thumbup:

Thanks guys, we're getting there, slow but sure.
Blades are polished up, cutting the keys down, trimming pins and getting ready for glue up.

I'll get some pics up tonight, handles are attached and getting shaped:thumbup:

Different stages of ugly, handles are attached with epoxy (Bladebond) without the pins. When I'm done shaping I'll taper the holes and insert the pins with epoxy and peen them before it cures. The peened pins secure the scales and the epoxy seals everything up. In case anyone's wondering about weight, the keys weigh less than a 1/4" pin of the same length. I'm gonna finish the Blackwood's first, then the Chechen and Bocote.

I'm really liking the look of the blackwood. A lot of times it is very dark and doesn't have much character, but these are light enough in color to show the grain and contrast

Maybe I missed the details John, but are these already spoken for ?
