More like: "Help me cheat PayPal by falsifying the nature of the transaction while leaving you with no remedy if I decide to screw you like you are helping me screwing paypal."

Why would anyone do business with someone who starts out wanting you to lie for him?

Tomayyytoes tomahhhtoes...

I don't care for the "Paypal gift" route myself, PP is providing a service and obviously they have to collect a small percentage to stay in business.

Seems like theres a lot of "pay me with the gift option" and little to feedback going on lately...this is something people need to be very careful with. Personally, I expect to see atleast 50-60 feedback before I even consider pp gift.

Hope you gret your money or knife.
I'd have to be hit on the head numerous times before I'd even consider using the "Gift" option on PP. I don't care how much good feedback a seller has. They aren't getting my money without a safety net for me.

Jozef, go to https://www.usps.com/ and report this to the Postal Inspectors.
Their direct link actually is https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/

You may want to send the thief one more email telling him about this thread and that your next step is law enforcement.

"It has been shipped, I did not include tracking as it wasn't stated in my ad. The usps told me it would be there by Friday. Enjoy the Bali, side note I applied lube to it to prevent rusting in this cold weather so it'll be a little oily in the package."

I did not get any tracking number from him ...
To further my emails he have not answered.

Of course he hasn't, he was here to scam.

We need this guy revealed and reviled!

I love how he immediately responds when you threatened to take legal action against him. Worthless scamming pile of trash. I hope he's reading this thread too.

Postal inspectors and Leo do not do a damn thing when it comes to online crime.

Ic3.com is the only place to go if you want a REAL chance of getting help.

Hope it gets you resolved with you getting your knife. The frequency of this type of thing happening is upsetting

Let's cut him up! No but seriously so unfortunate, I know the buyer could have been more careful but like wtf.....where's the honesty and integrity.... For 220bucks? What a loser

"PayPal gift only" is a HUGE red flag. It screams, "Pay me in a way where I can totally screw you over if I feel like it!".

The guy has ZERO feedback.

that screams

can you post the real name of the seller so others do not get scammed on other places he might sell?

I am sure he will change his username.. guys with knives like these do not just disappear from the hobby

Report the transaction to Paypal?

You won't get your money back, but you may be able to get his paypal account revoked so he has a harder time taking people's money.

I tried to send some claim, but gift transaction is not possible complain by PayPal...

Wether on not the guy purchased tracking or not every single USPS package is assigned a "PID" number and USPS can still track it, purchasing tracking simply makes it so is common folk can see what they can always see.

If you are considering legal action (police/postal inspector/IC3) you may want to email him back informing him you need the PID number off the receipt. If he can't provide that he didn't create a shipment.
