No, I called him sledge. But that's him with reference to the email address. I was waiting for 2 weeks to have it delivered by UPS but it was around Xmas and with the storms back east I was not concerned. I used goods , with no pictures, how bad could it be on a "lightly used" emerson commander? Since then it was sent to emerson for lock rock and sharpening so it good now but could have been screwed if I had used gift. Live and learn.

I bet he's secretly reading this thread as we all type.If he immediately responded to you after you threatened to take action with the law it obviously means that he is still checking his emails and is very aware of what's going on. Knew this was coming. He posted a fake strider, claimed he got it from the a member on the JD, member's name he claimed scammed him doesn't exist, verified by mods there. I've contacted him several times through his profile email, the one he used in his for sale threads, and through VM's trying to get his supposed username for the JD, no reply even when he was active on here.
Was going to call him out, but doing so here without any hard proof (or having actually dealt with them) you can catch a lot of backlash.

I saw your visitors messages today , from back when the strider event occurred, I appreciate you trying. You really didn't know his intent. Your questioning must have bugged him. You were persistent. He was gone by your last request .
Didn't know his full intent (had a guess, turned out I was right) but knew he tried to pass off a fake Strider for a custom one and that he was full of shit on the back story. I sent him several emails since the fake Strider came up too, last one was shortly after the last VM I left.
Only other thing I could have really done was to troll his FS threads and try and disrupt his attempts to sell, sure the mods would have come down on me if I had though.
Maybe its a question to ask in technical. What is the protocol. If you see seriously suspicious behavior like selling a fake . Really if someone had known to click the little black triangle on the bottom left of every post they could have had a mod there getting answers. I read that thread and feel like I can hear him stuttering while he makes excuses. Like wrong model sorry I was looking at the one in my hand. :barf:
