I think I may have a 'Small' fixed blade problem ;) they are just so handy. In this photo only a couple might extend over 4" but the majority of them are 3.5" or less.

Right now this is what my collection of fixed blades consists of, more than I want to have but I really like every one, even that holiday printed one, it's handy for opening packages.

IMO, the smaller they are, the more you tend to carry them = higher knife happiness index.

It’s kinda difficult to lug around the Esee claymores and Becker greatswords all day.

Small fixed blades are easy to just throw in the pocket, then you go about the rest of your day.

Unfortunately? Lol 😂 while at the Lehigh Valley knife show today, it will also be going on tomorrow, I picked up yet another smallish fixed blade
Made by WaxWing blade is Nitro-V and 1/16” thick so you know it’s a slicer!

I added a bobtail fob to aid in drawing the knife out of its kydex sheath

Pretty nice knife, he has several different blade shapes and a variety of handle scales that are textured to provide a very positive grip.

Got these 4 finally done! 2.5" cutting edge (or a hair over), hair under 7" OAL. Figuring out how to use the laser to cut the sheath patterns so they are more uniform for the same model! I cut the welts out in a generic shape and then fit each one individual to the blade that was going into that sheath. Also laser cut the holes to mount the DCC clip, so those helped me keep the pieces together during the processes, too. They are only .165" or so thick, so they are pretty slim, but comfy in the hand! I found this handle shape was more comfortable than the MBBO handle shape without scales when I made some templates up.
