Last customs agent I saw was armed to the friggin teeth. Im talking about M4, 6 extra mags for it, A glock (4 extra mags[extended]) on a lanyard, An array of radios/communication devices, body armor, and tactical clothing. Actually there might have been two side arms I dont remember though. Oh then the Polish army right outside the airport...Then a bunch of other customs/army officers walking around with Ak-47's.
 
I have a question for you guys...

Where are you getting the ranger bands from? Are you just using intertube from a bike? Cause I can get that real easy but if it is something else... Where's it coming from?
 
There is a bike shop around the corner from my house... I'll sneak out there tomorrow and see if they have any extras laying around...
 
ask for dead tubes -- you'll want a couple of different sizes: skinny road tire, fat mountain bike tire, etc...

However, just make sure they're free. If you're paying for "ranger" bands, you're a boot.

And here's a very random Canadian fun fact:

So, my brother posted this thing on facebook, one of those "if you can read this" type things but in phonetic alphabet. Which spawned an entire conversation using it. Which then spawned into doing binary... We are kind of geeks I guess.
 
For those of you that use a hammock, what do you use to stay warm in colder weather say 40*F.
 
I had a sleeping bag in there with me... I don't know if that is what everyone else did but I did it. I was warm enough that I was wishing I had brought shorts...
 
So I picked out my 21st birthday present for myself already, in addition to my CCW. FN Five-seveN. Gonna get as much handgun training as I can up till then, then go on with advanced stuff. Will be carried under my left arm in a Kydex holster with 1 mag full of smart rounds (if I can find them in the 5.7x28mm that the gun requires) and 2 mags with standard rounds for practice shooting/back up ammo (doubt I'll need extra mags if I have a 20 round mag full of smart rounds). Also gonna mount a laser sight to the rail on the bottom (haven't decided on a laser yet).

Now, if I enlist then I won't wait until my 21st birthday to get either of them, I'll get them the day I get back from BCT, the only problem being where I store it when I'm not home.

I put a lot of thought into this. Still looking at the Savage rifles for my 18th birthday, liking some of their semi autos, but I don't know if I want semi auto or bolt action, mostly because of superficial reasons (increased RoF Vs. BA ejection).
 
i got a 200k volt stun gun for 5 bucks today from a homeless looking guy walking down the street and it seems to work fine but i kinda want to shock myself with it.... i know it cant hurt too bad and my curiosity it getting the best of me.... Anyone ever been tased? what to expect?
 
I really regret stripping my BK9 now. It used to have battle scars... Now it's just full of ugly grind marks.
