Good luck with that. The subject of Clayton has become a sour one around these parts.

Sitting in a sports bar in Louisville watching the Yankees go down. tradewater won't call my butt back.

Ok did some searching and am up to date on TB's status. So much for my Akers... which means that despite still being on my no-new-knives-for-a-year kick, if I'm replacing a knife that basically poof vanished into thin air, then it would really be a new knife would it?

I finally got my new BK-11 in the mail

Hell no.

I have seen the light. Bourbon Barrel Stout. Hallelujah and pass the pint. I'm searching for this magic elixir in bottles tomorrow.

Giants v. Cardinals. That means I can sit here and sip another Bourbon Barrel Stout. Go Cards.

I'm not a fan of a lot of NYC policy, but.... an average of 500 homocides per year in a city of 8,000,000 is not a bad record compared to the late 80's.
Maybe the population has dropped a bit - there's been lots of emmigration since the Great Collapse.

The perception is that you're way more likely to get harassed by the cops than a violent criminal, and that's kinda the issue, I think. Something like 1 in 8 people will be stopped (the distribution of stops is NOT even), but only 1 in 16,000 will be killed (distribution also not even).
I have nothing to say about non-homocides.

yum! not really sure what to do with it, but yum!

You stay off of here a few days and you miss quite a bit........ for the video about the cops in NYC, i'm just glad that the guy sees cops as the generators of revenue for the city :) On the subject of TB, guess I'll have to search for it too. I was wondering where he had been.

it's in GB&U.

I'm having a New Belgium 1554 black ale -- tasty!
(don't be afraid of the dark!)
