Are you in a corporate restaurant? I was working at an indie place and honestly it was SO chill. I normally carried my 5 in the kitchen. Course we also were usually each drinking a bottle of jack while back there. Are you GM or front of house or back of house manager?

I recognize it isn't that all they do is generate cash, they do more than that too. I just am sick of being harassed by them for little/no apparent reason.

I think the Octorberfest is out now. Not sure if that is what they actually call it. Schlafly actually makes some good beer.

Ordered a new 6 man tent, two XL cots, and two air mattresses to go with em. Ordered them all Monday morning. They arrived yesterday afternoon. That is pretty quick IMO. Very excited for next week.

I wish I could. Working six days a week has basically eliminated any chance for a social life, at the moment.
 
So I just got my Rush 10 MOAB (black) today, that was a fun conversation with my parents... ("Why did you buy another backpack?! We bought you 2!!!" "Because I wanted one that doesn't feel like will break when I pick it up. AND I paid for it with my own money.")

Also got a H2O carrier and black/silver flag for it. Tek-Lok no fit! :( So Helga can't ride and Becca's sheath is still in mid mod (gotta get the sewing machine setup, gonna make it a wee-bit shorter), so for now it's Becker less, I did toss my Gerber paraframe (uber waste of $20, now is beatable knife, it still functions, but I was expecting a hell of a lot more from Gerber) in there. When I get a 7 it will go opposite to the H2O carrier so I can get it by turning the backpack over my shoulder.

I'll post pics of it Saturday night when I get back from camp got a cub scout day event that I'm staffing the obstacle course for (maximum age of 10 on the course, yet requires a 21 yr old certified director and 2-3 16+ yr old instructors to run).

Edit: Doogoon, whats your gamertag? I won't be on 4 until it drops down to about $30, but I'll be on Reach as much as possible.

GM? I wish. I'd definitely have a lot more Beckers and a couple of pistols you'd be seeing pictures of. I am a FOH manager who actually occasionally still serves tables here and there when there are shifts that need covered (gotta love leaving with a pocket full of cash). It is family owned, total of 3 locations with another one opening up within next year in LA. There is known to be after hours drinking and all that, we are pretty informal in most interactions especially with eachother as well as guests as we are a Southern Roadhouse but it has more to do with the general perception of knives in my area. Not many folks hunt or are into self reliance or knives or guns, our gun laws are pretty strict and while our knife laws aren't as bad as NYC or much of Europe they are not letting us get away with a whole bunch. It's kind of the sissy, snottiness of my immediate area and clientele that plays a big part too.

but six times in a row, as of what? 2-3 years ago.

on the grippig hand, my motorcycle is 400 lbs dry, and i can "move it" with leg and hip action. mmm.
