you're either punching 2 holes in the foundation or you're running metal conduit for the second outlet.
You only need one GFI per circuit. (just like a kitchen or bathroom, only the first outlet needs to be GFI)
In fact, running more than one GFI on a given circuit interferes with the way it works and can cause a lot of intermittent issues later.

If it was me, I would use a GFI breaker and run my romex to a 4x4 j-box and split from there to both receptacles.
Yeah it’s going to be two holes in the foundation. I really can’t get EMT thru the cinder block and rock porch to the other side. I can still daisy chain from one GFI but I agree with you on the Breaker. The weatherproof outlets are subject to be buried under snow. I’m Installing low voltage step and walkway lighting. And the outlets will also be used for Christmas lights.

We have around 250 million in new construction going on at work right now. They tore down a building connected to the lab building and just left sanitary drains hanging out in the open . Drain coming out of the blood bank froze . Even though I can call the G.M. for the construction company and tell him to get it fixed I still had to stick around to make sure it is done .
This morning we have removed a scrub sink and moved water and drains behind the wall remove a flushing hopper move its water behind the wall and cap . Then pipe in a drain for a Neptune machine . Then since we shut down the water to the whole building we flushed about 100 sinks and made sure about 75 toilets were working correctly.

Whoot -32 F-word again! 8 points above normal! At least we have enough snow to give the wild life some insulation this winter. Sure glad I foraged and hunted down and harvested a new battery earlier this month!

Howling wind Friday night killed power in the wee hours of the night and beat up trees around town.

I got invited to visit a local pier yesterday and was surprised to see the effect that wind had on the water.
Flat as a parking lot. This beach is normally pounded by surf.

Nice.
I've spent a lot of time in San Pedro, and mapped the snot out of the Channel Islands (water) area.

I've spent a lot of time in San Pedro, and mapped the snot out of the Channel Islands (water) area.
It's a busy area for shipping of all kinds.
From Saturday evening, our highlight of the evening was a whale. It was longer than my truck, just after sundown, in the twilight, it swam within a few yards of the pier, right under our feet. It was light gray in color, it had a blunt head, and a massive, horizontal tail fluke. My best guess is that it was a juvenile, or younger Grey Whale.
