Snark City

Spent most of yesterday getting a commercial running treadmill into the house. Those things are HEAVY! Luckily, no one was crushed during the process. Now, it's time to start shedding some of that winter weight.

i just upgraded my rowing machine to the 21st century, now it can "connect" - not a bad thing for a 20+ year old gadget of love and hate...

as well, i put a Pivot mount onto the display of "indoor fancy bicycle", so i can ride THAT too...

mostly though, i've been getting a lot of conditioning on the 8x10 foot area gymnastic mats i managed to squeeze space for playing some VERY dynamic VR games - effectively the same conditioning intensity as raquetball, combined with some "combat" in the form of exotic "nerf guns", all made possible by VR - it's called Blaston and is unintentionally the best workout for what is otherwise an elegant game - thinking on your feet, dodging, twisting, diving, shooting... 8-12 calories an hour... play for an hour (or more), doesn't seem like exercise, but goddamn, it is.

the trailer is cute:

the actual game play by high level people is hard to follow:

lost over 25 so far? going to 25 more.

getting into a new GPS soon, intend to smite the 100s (1000s) of geocaches in my area (it's taken off)...

keep moving guys...

*I think I saw Cow Tools a page back at post 337?*

Oh nice knife above there!

Oh just -27 F-Word tonight, warmer than I thought for mid Jan's Month. Usually we got them for day time temps in the past.

Yeah I know what you mean...I was thinking on getting more BK4s but the affordable ones went gone gone then went pricey and high after waiting a day...

I like the concept of the blade. But I must say that the handle design has me perplexed

it's Italian ;) it's been their design style for a long long time on a lot of their knives, even today.

it looks weird, but seems to work, esp with gloves. *shrug* :D

the blade itself is 9ish years old. not new, and not many people remember it.

the chinese made a LOT of clones, good enough to fool people, so the market was kinda screwed on that one

Great work! And I agree with you regarding rowing machines. We have a Concept 2 and workouts are brutal.

Cool! We have a model D with a PM5. Just went to the website and it looks like they have rebranded the units. Now calling them RowErg. Just noticed the new Device Holder Retrofit Kit. Might have to buy that!

*defiantly thinks 337 was Cow Tools! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cow_Tools *

Does walking out side still work?
Yup!

Just purchased a Taurus Judge.
For no other reason than fun shooting.
I already have a home protection and concealed carry pistol.
I have no other reason to own this pistol except for fun shooting.
I’ve always been drawn to it.
Looking forward to it!
