Giggity ;)

Nice score on those razor blades! What kind of handles are you going to give them?

Thanks man, I only got 2, and only by chance because they were all sold 2 weeks ago, but i guess one of the buyers backed out.

One of the 2 im getting is considered a "2nd" because the pivot hole did not come out the right size. He threw it in for free which is AWESOME.

I was indeed considering a friction folder for one, a guy on another forum is making a neat damascus friction folder and it kind of inspired me to see what i can come up with. But i dont have any tools or anything so im not sure exactly what will happen yet. I may farm the work out. I also considered a hidden tang fixed blade, it would be different LOL.

Nothing set in stone yet. But both of them only cost me 20 bucks shipped. So ill happily play around with them and see what i can come up with.

With a belt grinder and drill with bit  :D

I was thinking more like a strop loaded with diamond compound and sandpaper by hand............

Good luck with that!
That's the way its done, but... You'll want a proper contact wheel and high end ceramic abrasive. That suggests a pro grinder. I'd prolly soften the tang with a torch before banging a good drill bit off it.

Heheheheh, Sparta. Heheheheh.

I've apparently purchased a pricey bulldog pattern. I blame Gus as both inspiration and enabler.

Adding this to my knife making tips collection!

Time to get my ass on the treadmill!

Where the hell is Pointy? Haven't seen him around.

Pivot looks pre-drilled. A hollow grind, on the other hand, will be quite the challenge.

Yea a hollow grind would be a pain i imagine.

But i havent used a razor blade to shave since i got out the Army. I just use clippers now. So these could just as well be FFG.

I didnt really get them with the intention of them being used to shave.... Really i just thought it would be cool to see what i could come up with for them.

WW, it would be cool to turn one into a friction folder pocket knife. Do a convex edge all along the blade and make the handle like a regular razor but use it as a pocket knife.

Excuse me Mr. Terrio, if you don't like Jimmy, how about the more formal "Jimothy"? :D

I had a buddy that decided to shave his head clean but he went all in and used a straight razor. First time he'd ever shaved his head or shaved with a straight razor so you can imagine how that turned out. Still badass though, I had to applaud him for that.

Can anybody recommend a good map program that I could use to measure my cycling distance?

Was he able to even hear the applause, you know, after shaving off his ears?

Thats kind of what i was thinking with one of them. Basically a straight razor with a stop pin so it doesnt keep rotating backwards and used as a pocket knife.

Yea i remember the first time i tried using a straight razor, it was on my neck and i had several nice razor cuts when i was finished. It took a little while to get the hang of it. But i was just using one of those plastic handled ones you add the disposable straight razor blades to.

I can just imagine doing my hard head with all the lumps and knots, instead of bald id be a redhead when it was over LOL

I'm gonna have to stop allowing pictures of my workbench being such a mess. What a disgrace. By the way, cbwoods, that package in the top left corner of the picture is yours. Murph left with it tonight and will have it in the mail first thing in the morning.........I will send your tracking to you in a PM.
