Wow, coors light didn't make the list. Those must taste like smashing your tounge with a hammer made of frozen urine.
 
So my aunt and uncle lost there house x-mas night to a fire and now I woke up to several text messages to her son passing away last night. Not sure on how but everyone thinks it was an "OD".. I saw my cousin at our family Xmas party and I thought something seemed off with him... Man I feel so bad for my aunt.

Really sorry to hear it JD. Losing a kid has to be the worst. Prayers for you and for the whole family.

old e was my drank in high school and my early 20's thanks to easy-e and the whole compton posse....

My brother has OD'ed at least 4 times that i know of. He would go to the hospital, get his stomach pumped or something and the next day be shooting up again like it never happened.

I once asked him why he would do that to himself even after OD'ing. And he said he enjoys opiates. Its his life and his choice. And he prefers his lifestyle. Stupidest crap i ever heard in my life. He would say the best "highs" were right at the point of OD'ing, so he would always try and get as close as possible to going overboard without completely falling off... What a dickhead. I love my brother dont get me wrong. But i dont like him. He deserves to be in the Max Security prison he is currently in. He is a junkie and a thief.....

Same here. I use to drink a BUNCH of OE.

About a year ago i tried one again.... It was horrible LMAO


On another note i just heard back from Spring House brewery and they said they do indeed fill growlers and will fill my 64oz growler slap full of Big Gruesome stout for only 15 bucks.... Hell a 22oz bottle here in the store is 10 bucks so im happy as hell at that price. Now i need a 2nd... or even a 3rd growler to make the trip more worth it LOL

Pretty much, yeah. The great thing about Coors Light is, not only does it not taste like much of anything and is weak as water, it's also "full price" (gotta pay for all those fancy commercials and race cars, y'know). So you have to spend about $40 to catch a decent breakfast buzz. As the saying goes, "People who drink that swill don't like beer, they just like to pee a lot."

If yer gonna go cheap, you may as well go high-octane. Nothin' wrong with generic vodka and store-brand Kool-Aid...

Good on you for being adult enough to separate the two. At least you love him enough to let him make his own mistakes....and to live with the consequences. I have a BIL who is 49 and still can't take care of himself, really. And his family doesn't love him enough to let him learn how....they are always coming to his rescue.

Red wine and Coors Light can give me headaches.

One summer, I sold beer at Atlanta Braves games. Good year. I got to sell at the World Series.
We got a case of Bud tall boys, a half case of Miller Light tall boys, and a half case of Coors Light tall boys.
The Coors was almost always the last to go.

Yea. We have all tried to help him. My father has tried multiple times letting him come home and trying to help him get clean, only to end up getting robbed and disappointed. Last time he got out of prison i let him come stay with me here in Philly. That ended with me kicking his ass one evening when i knocked on his bedroom door and he says come in, soon as i walked in i see a needle already full of heroin ready to be shoved in his arm. He had the nerve to bring it into my home with my children.... I stomped his ass and kicked him out. I pre-warned him when he first got here if he ever brought a needle in my house id kick his ass, i follow through with my word. I felt bad afterwards though. Like i said i LOVE my brother. Just dont like him.

After kicking him out i still tried to help him. A few days later when i cooled down i went and found him. I gave him some nice clothes to get a job, loaned him a little money, even took him out to eat. He then re-payed me by breaking through our windows and robbing our house that very weekend. Took cash, all the video game systems, jewelry and more.

That was the final straw. Im done with him. Ill always love the guy... But i wont be helping him again. He said it himself, he prefers his lifestyle.... Ill let him live it.

Never trust a junkie. That's not a judgement, it's just a fact. There are things going on between their ears we'll never, ever understand. :(
