I've always kinda wanted one, but was worried about the thickness of it more than anything. You know, like when it comes to batoning, etc. I know many have used it for that though, with no issues. Looking forward to getting it, but moreso, using it.

One good one should cover you. And I certainly don't consider Norton or McAfee to be good ones. The anti-virus coverage may be just fine, but they put too much other junk on your computer as well. I'm an AVG or Avast man myself.

Someone that speaks the speak hopefully will chime in with a real answer - and correct me where I'm wrong on my anti-virus preferences (please).

IMHO, McAfee & Norton are "pay for the privilege" viruses themselves. AVG & Avast are both good, as are the Webroot products, but I use Windows Security Essentials or Windows Defender depending on OS -- considering all the bugs & security holes in their software, they have been forced to develop a reasonably robust protection suite that's included in the OS if you're smart enough to enable it. I also supplement with CCleaner and Malwarebytes.
 
Went back to the DIY store today, and got two more of those Bahco mora's for mad cheap, which I mentioned in the previous snarl.

Got two wooden handles for some old axes I'm revamping as well.

+1 to what Mike said, yeah their pricy but a lot less the actual Hinderers. I love my 0562.

Nice on the 5 Warrior! I'm carrying mine around today. Sundays are 'big knife day's' at my house :D

This! I have been asked, mostly by people at work to take them fishing, hiking, camping, one even wants me to teach him how to make a fire with a bowdrill. At work I have to be very professional and all inclusive. In my head I am saying " No effing way, I can't stand my limited conversations with you in a controlled environment, let alone being stuck with you in the woods alone having to deal with all your unfiltered ignorance." What I really say is, "Yeah, we will have to plan something."

This is sound advice. Don't pay if you don't have to....plus I find both Norton and McAfee to be nags. MSE & WD do it all, in the background...without the constant nagging to upgrade this or that....and they're reasonably effective. AdBlockPlus with Chrome also helps to prevent "accidents" - especially if you're not the only one who uses the computer.

Nice trade on the 5, Dubz. I was thinking about it, but my 5 has some rather noticeable manufacturing aberrations.

Why doesn't anyone at walmart know their job? First the lady working sporting goods would only sell me two boxes of 9mm even though the store isn't rationing ammo, then the woman behind the deli counter screwed up my order twice.

It's a good thing for everyone that our thought process is not visible, and that humans are SO good at lying......I mean, ah....you know - saying stuff they don't really mean. At all.

The last contest Moose ran had me tempting live orangutangs at the zoo with goldfish crackers...... needless to say the keepers didn't like that too much... next time I go I'll bring the Parangatang I won and they can try telling me no! Thanks man. I'm already thinking of mods, haha. Will keep it as is for awhile. Need to finish my Cam 2 mod. Being lazy about it.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around "tasteful", "nude" and "featuring Cbear".......maybe it was supposed to be "Tasteful foods featuring Cbear and his KaBars".....
