Not sure how I managed this but blew past 1000 posts and didn't do a gaw. Should be throwing something up this week. Probably going to be a Becker since over half of that 1000 has been in Becker forum.

My faith in humanity drops more every time somebody has to clarify this point. I would understand if this was posted somewhere else on the internet, but here in the company of responsible outdoors enthusiasts.....

Damnit, beat me by a minute....

And thats just because i had to edit my original post 2 or 3 times to make it less offensive.

This is not the place for arguing religion/beliefs. I love that everyone has the right to believe what they want... But cant stand when someone goes out there way to argue their way of life or call other's out for their own belief systems. I believe in something greater than men. Spirits, a god, i have no real name or title for it. But i dont go around telling people that believe in the bible that they are wrong, i dont try and prove my point with facts or evidence, i love that others can believe what they want. Id happily take my children to any church they wanted to go to, and have taken my daughter to a couple different ones already.

This is not the place to argue beliefs. It will end badly for all of us.

Never too late to appreciation the value of life my friend,

(not trying to preach, just not everyone has the same point of view on such matters, fair to say?)

This. There are other places on bladeforums to argue/discuss these types of topics.
 
So picked up a last-minuet OT shift last night. As I'm coming home I decide to go back to that walmart again to get more ammo (they let be buy all I wanted this time). Anyway at the intersection there was a car accident and EMT's aren't there yet so I stop to offer what assistance I can since I'm a first responder. One of my coworkers stops too and we do what we can. Car accident wasn't too bad but the lady I checked was hurting from the seatbelt and where she hit the inside of the car. She didn't look seriously injured, probably just freaking out more than anything so I just tried to keep her talking and distracted. She asked me to call her girlfriend but I called the wrong number and then the EMT's showed up and I couldn't hear anything over the commotion to make a phone call anyway. EMT's and the police had the scene and I was in the way and so was my truck so the best thing for me to do was just leave since I didn't witness the accident or anything. I instructed the one witness to stay and give a statement to the police and then I proceeded to walmart and bought my ammo and a six pack. After working and then dealing with all that I needed to take the edge off.

The woman told me where her girlfriend worked and what her name was and I almost went there and told her what happened but then decided to let someone make contact in an official capacity. Figured there wasn't any point in getting her worried and not even be able to tell her what hospital her GF was going to or anything. Then as I'm leaving the walmart I go back through the intersection where the accident was and most of it was cleared except one of the cars and two cops blocking the turn lanes where the car is. A woman in a minivan drove around the cop car in the turn lane and attempted to make the turn anyway and had to be waved off by the cops. :rolleyes:

A life that is given to sustain life for others is the greatest gift possible. The fact that you insinuated another outcome other then responsible hunting in your previous post, without knowing the history of my family was / is like the general consensus of the general public today (hence the loss of my faith in humanity). Just because somebody want's to go get their own dinner people automatically assume they are driving through the forest shooting everything that moves. I'm sorry, it just rubbed me the wrong way.

Naw, just some of the opinions express by majority of uninformed society get to me from time to time and I need to mini rant. It's only when I have a second to think, the rest of the time I'm too busy :D


Yeah that guy's good. I like the cover that Paul Van Dyk does of that song. I used to be big into trance in my mid teens. Alas this world is full of amazing guitarists : insert any Dragonforce video here >_____<

I like a lot of different styles music, rarely trance,
I'm more of an Evanescence guy, (anything by Amy Lee, or Ben Moody)

Btw I don't tend to do forums, and I only do so for fun, (and cuz I currently have a detached knee ligament and so have some pockets of spare time...)

....and a whole day early. It didn't travel to the other side of the US nor did it travel through time. It came straight here and is out for delivery a whole day earlier than estimated.

What the hell? This is completely screwing with my perception of reality today.
