Yeah, Andy Roy has three (I think) mid-tech models. I won this one (the "Runt") at Blade.

Jerry has one with White River. I assume that would be called a mid-tech. He had them on his table at Blade.

I'm just going to try sleeping in it for one night in the next week or two to try it out when we head up to Arkansas for a few days of R&R. I've never actually slept in one before, but y'all have convinced me it's worth a try. I just wanted to make sure I stayed dry in the event of a rain.

I use a cheapo 10x12 from wallfart. Works plenty good. Last time i was out and it rained i slept through it, that was also when i drunk a bit too much too though, so i would of likely slept through a bear attack. But i woke up bone dry and thats always good.
Not as nice looking, or as light. But i think i paid 10 bucks or so for it and have used it a bunch without issues. Eventually i may spring for a better tarp... But the cheapo has yet to give me a reason to need a better one. If i was backpacking in somewhere id be a different story though.

Well, we've backpacked before, but this time it certainly won't be that. We might be taking more with us than what you take when you move.

And that wouldnt be that hard actually. We have given away and thrown out so much in the last week or so!!
I got the bowflex half apart now to give it to a teenager that lives up the block. It still in great shape i just wont have anywhere to put it, and it takes up a bunch of room if we take it on the move. Gave the kids bikes to some kids on the block as well. Our kids will need mountain bikes down there, and still wont like riding them in that sand.. I know LOL... All beds, kids dressers, dishes, some appliances, kitchen tables/chairs, a lot of toys... Its all being given away.

Gosh darn!! It's been 100 + in my neck of the "woods" today woke up with no cool breeze so that means it's gonna be hotter than hell today! No AC! Man it needs to rain over here not get hotter....

Let's see. Some catching up to do. I have a few games on Steam, mostly Portal, XCOM, and Poker Night 2, which is pretty fun every once in a while.
WW, sucks about the beard. At least your lady likes it. Last time I had a hair disaster, it was my whole head, and my wife was NOT happy. That was more or less my own fault. Was giving myself a trimmer cut, and when I was almost done, the height adjust slipped because it's a cheap POS, and I ended up with a furrow shaved along the side. Ended up with a buzz cut, which looked terrible.
Also, got paid today finally. Been a long dry spell. Finally get to go orange again. Still working on getting my shop set up again.
