I've got that same scroll saw collecting dust in my shop right now. Works pretty well, but I just don't use it.

Going to the cabin. Hoping to get a hike in, but probably won't have time. Sucks that my wife has to work Saturdays. Over nighters get old. I want the whole weekend there, so we have time to do stuff. The wife was gonna ask her boss to get Saturdays off, if she would work an evening shift during the week. Fingers crossed.
 
hory sit, someone in china wants to talk to the CEO of the 710 custom sheaths.... lol... someone wants to use my company name over there... I said NO thank you...

fun... well if making stuff is fun then yup, I'm having a great time rebuilding my shop... took everything down and made a full on press table. gonna add some vertical stands as well. Got all my knives back from heat treat, had it sent out to try out this cryo treatment... 52100 steel this time around. I don't see the difference but performance wise supposed to be indestructible.

I tried mine out last night. Just using the cheap blade that came with it. Made a couple rounded cuts with it in 3/4" thick wood. Cut just fine.

Slowwwwww snarking. It seems I've lost my victorinox farmer again. Last time it showed up again after a few days, but this time its been mia for a few weeks. Luckily I keep another one as a backup. Its such a handy little knife that I hate to not have one on me. Guess I better order another backup.

The farmer is by far my favorite SAK, I was lucky enough to get a red alox one a year or so ago
 
Im HAPPY with how this stonewash came out. Of course it took a little trial and error to figure out how to get it this way (which i explained in the mod/making thread) but it was worth it to get this result.

Mine too Spikebot. It has just enough to be useful and d doesn't have a bunch of stuff that never gets used. I just ordered another to be my new backup.
 
My red farmer has been riding around in my pocket for years. It's a handy tool for sure.
