That must be how Dubz feels making a bonfire.

Always like the 336w. Had one and sold it and then broke down and bought another. Gonna put an XS rail on and a 2-7 Leupold I have laying around. I'd like to get a 336y and set that up with the XS rail and a small RDS and light.

I've got the XS Leverrail with the matching XS ghost rear and white-line front blade. it's suh-whweet.

Man, that's a shame about the knifemaker. A buffer is about the most dangerous tool you can own.

A good friend of mine used to be a high school shop teacher and would always say a buffer and a wood lathe were the scariest things in the shop because they could kill you instantly.

I've seen many a chuck key go airborne.

Life is good in Barlow. That is all.

psst....
look Gutsy - "kid safe" tomahawk combat trainers.
they can kneecap you without drawing blood -- and the bright handles make it eaiser to find where the dog hid them.

Ahh back to gold!

We pretty much finished up corn last night. All but a couple really small patches are done, so I'm off for the day. I believe I'm going to attempt to replace a couple shingles and then be a bum for the rest of the day.

I need one I think..... I see that Baryonyx has them and does the special grade thinning out the edge a bit.

Hmmmmm......

I probably went a bit thin with mine, but I use it like a knife about as much as a hatchet.

Which one is that Trade ? Are you still using the Fine Forresters ?

It's the little Condor Scout hatchet I picked up at Blade. You saw it (I think). Yes, I use the Fine Forrester as a kayak axe. It's not bad for that.

love my 336, but 30WCF won't reach out and touch Bambi the same way a 30-06 will. :D
OTOH, if you REALLY want dinner to fall over when hit, a 460 grain 45/70 will do the trick nicely.
(buddy of mine has a "Quigley" model Sharps)

good point, i don't usually think about it because where i hunt, you're not going to be able to shoot further than 70 yards without hitting a tree :D

as for the 45-70, i've been looking at the H&R Buffalo Classic
