TBL... is that wood looking vinyl, real wood or what? Either way i LIKE IT!!

Im not a fan of carpet really. Even though, both this place and the place im moving to have carpet.. Id prefer hardwood flooring throughout if i had my choice.

The place im moving to even has carpet in the master bathroom.. In the bathroom. WHY put carpet in the bathroom ??

One good thing about buying over renting... I can change what i want.... The down side is.. everything cost money LOL

G-shark -- congrats on the knife & hatchet score!
TBL - we put vinyl plank in the basement - goes in quick, looks decent, and is fairly durable!

Thanks meng!

Its vinyl boards WW. Fake wood, but I agree man, It looks awesome. The surface has a 1mm ware buffer, so its going to last a while. We just needed a cheep solution that looked good for our main entrance to the house. We had to put another rug over top in the winter because the carpet was getting soaked from the snow. Then it would get salt stains and continue to be dirty as all hell. This is just easier to clean  I'll throw up new baseboards on Monday

 We'll most likely be doing the same when its time to do the basement!

True, but that doesn't really matter when I buy stuff over here in Belgium. On inexpensive items the margin became rather small, but for more expensive items it's still cheaper for me to buy them in the US, even incl. shipping. The financial institution I work for estimates parity between USD and EURO by the end of the year or early 2016. Then it might be a different story but we're not there yet, so... Exciting times in the world economy, that's for sure. But I digress, let's go back to snarking :D
This is hOw I snark, lol. Being French in the U.S., I sometimes order from across the ocean. It used to be a tough rate to swallow, or at least expect to be paying more but Last month or so I ordered some French livres and ended up paying close to the same amount in US dollars after the conversion

No problem brother.

The reviews were good reads. I'm always interested to see how other people test knives. Its almost like standardized testing for all blade/ steel types ;) and I do the same tests with all mine. That is good for all knives and good info for everybody to learn :D

I think I know what I'm going to do with that 22 inch piece of leaf spring my bro gave me :D I'm thinking seax design, with a 16 inch blade. Time to find out what kind of cutting / grinding tools he has :D

Great knife Coop!
I got to handle it at Beckerwest and it's definitely a winner!
Nice design. Very nice indeed!

I'll bite, why? PayPal is the greatest thing ever except for Google wallet but Google doesn't offer credit lines

Every time I try to deal with PP it's been like pulling teeth. Going back to 2005 when I tried setting up the account in the first place and they told me my town's name was invalid. I guess I ended up using my mom's address in the next town over and completely forgot about it until recently when I wanted to pay for something with PP and had to do a password retrieval and all that. So I used PP to pay for the Parangatang from Tomar's Ka-Bars. Kershawguy and a few other sites do their billing through PP but you don't need an account or anything, just plug in your info like you would normally. Well when I paid Tomar's through PP I was logged into my account which had my current address on file so I was billed correctly but sent the package to my mom's house instead. I've deleted the old address out of the account but my mom still has to send the package to me and I have to reimburse her the shipping cost.

I don't use credit anymore so I don't care about PP's credit line, it's just a big scam to fleece you out of your money. Even if I did use credit I'd just use a credit card.

Paypal is a necessary evil for me. I tried my best to not deal with them but every customer preferred PP so it is what it is. I will say they make things easier for online purchasing/selling. But i dont like their policies at all.

Couple years ago i used pp to order a bk9 from tomars. It was suppose to be signature confirmation and everything. I never got it. Tracking showed it was never delivered, never signed for, nothing... However, it did make it to my zip code, just never went out for delivery.

Paypal didnt reimburse me. They said it made it to my city so go down and talk to the post office. I did several times. They couldnt find the box, i explained that to paypal over the phone and was basically told some crap about id need official proof the post office stated they cant find the box, i asked the post office, they flat out refused to provide this. I got nothing.

A buddy of mine sent a guy a box, insured it and all, the guy told paypal that he sent him a brick or rock or some crap like that, now that guy, the liar, yea he got reimbursed and my buddy got his paypal account locked and money taken back from his account... Because he couldnt prove what he put in the box, but the other guy took a picture of a brick or rock sitting on the already opened box... Like thats hard to fake

There's lots of negative stories online too... But like i said.. A necessary evil for me.
