Snow, Snow, and more SNOW!!! Yuck!

I gotta say that winter can be beautiful .... Ok.... Beauty IS in the eye of the beholder;)

Day on a nearby river, last weekend.

...Just missing the sun.... It'll be nice to see him again!

That pic just made me realize that I have not gone Ice Fishing yet this year. Well looks like Sunday is going to be a cold one for me.

Prayers sent high for your Cousin and you.

....Likewise. SueZQ, do take the time to go to those places that you are most curious about.... Good for the soul and mind. My better half found out that she had breast cancer 2 months after we got our dream house.... Let me tell you that, now that she is "out of danger" , travel will be high on her priority list (within our finances). Gotta do what you love before you can't anymore.;)

I guess I'm one of "those people" too because I actually LIKE the snow.... it's the slushy mess after it warms up that I hate!

There is nothing wrong with being one of "those people", I catch a lot of grief from Garth and Beef for liking winter but its all worth it. Winter is just so pretty!

Mid February and old man winter is saying "see ya later"??? You lucky girl! We don't expect anything like that 'till the beginning of April, sometimes last week of March...

Oh I'm sure that winter hasn't breathed its last in our area. Winter tends to hang out until April around here as well. I'm scheduling my spring fever for sometime next month. I'm going a little crazy not being able to dry laundry on the clothesline or drive with my windows down, but it's not bothering me too much yet. I'll give it a month before I start to lose my mind.

Been snowing since 12:40 today. Anywhere from 4-6" here.

More snow due tomorrow night, 2" or more

Damn winter

I honestly don't know how you guys and gals do it year after year. I lived in the Boston area for five years and that was about all I could take. Maybe growing up in Florida influenced that a bit.

Still snowing like crazy here in NE PA. We have well over a foot in the backyard. I say keep it coming. I love this stuff. I just got back from a ride with the kids in the Jeep. (Next year I gotta ditch the mud terrains for some Duratracs.)

It's really not so bad, but I think that growing up in it might have something to do with that opinion as well.

Yup, it certainly helped my opinion.

I hate the winter now

And yes, it's snowing.

Got up to 20 today here in Michigan... Woo-whoo! Heat wave! So I headed out to the woods to work on my shelter:

It is one of the many reasons I dislike spring. The walkways get sinky at first while the roads get slippery and dirty, and then spring further morphs forward into other miseries that include cold and damp to biting flies, not to mention the painfully long days. The pay off of summer is a long way to go through from the time the snow starts to go; spring is the process of where we pay for the winter and summer, (and fall too).

Low 80's today in the S/W. I send best wishes to all in the snow and ice.stay warm and safe !

Strangest weather I have ever seen here. Near 9 in of snow a couple days ago. Most of that melted off the next day. Then 37 for the high yesterday and another half inch last night that froze on the roads. 50 and sunny today, washed the wives van and my truck in short sleeves.

I love hot and dry weather! I didn't get to go to Taco Cabana :( Some day I will travel the country. My cousin is in a holding pattern right now and they have changed her to one week on, one week off, Monday and Thursday, chemo schedule. No matter what happens, I can not and will not leave the state until her battle is over. It has been very hard watching her fight, but she is a true hero. I promised her I will be there for her :)
Best wish's for your Cousin and you!

We are presently in the middle of another white out. Driving visibility is down to about 30 feet right now. Stay safe everyone.

Garth

Hey Garth,

Seeing that it's my first year being this active here, I was wondering. Are winters usually this bad down where you folks are. Seems that you are getting a lot of storms....

Rained part of the day, snowed the other part, now it's trying to become a frozen slushy everywhere
