Snow, Snow, and more SNOW!!! Yuck!

Spent the morning (from 4am to 6am) standing in the snowstorm telling people we were doing a station (gas station/convenience store) upgrade and we should be up in 15 minutes.. 2 hours later we were actually up. Love pissed off people in the morning who want to chat for 10 minutes about why they can't come in the store..

Roughly 2 in 5 people are aholes in the morning but I also don't think they were fully awake yet either. It was funnier yet because my boss was sitting inside and he KNOWS I'm not a people person on my best days. :-) I didn't get into computers because I love talking with people. ;-)
 
so our valley is getting warm wind and up to 10C/50F and no snow to speak of - and the next valley only about 80km south across the mountain ridge is having sub zeros and up to 2meters/6,6ft of snow in two days - and all the chaos that comes with it... if we could just have had 1meter each...
 
I spent a good amount of time shoveling my way out of the driveway today. It's a good thing that I have enough clothes to layer with because after an hour the wind started to bite a little bit on my face. The drifts that were half as tall as I am were what made me really work. I tell you what, its definitely something to have the temperature be somewhere around 10°F and still be sweating. :eek: I'm not mad though, the snow is still pretty to me :D
 
I feel really, really bad about being in Phoenix next week with the temps starting on Monday at 79*, Tuesday 77*, Wednesday 78*, Thursday 81, Friday way to hot at 87* and hot enough to
melt all that yucky snow here on Saturday at 90*
I just hope I don't have a heat stroke…:)

Schools closed today because of the negative temperatures! I told RussMo I was moving to Alaska in search of warmer weather. With every passing day I am beginning to think it is a good idea. :)
 
It was -30 with windchill this morning. Josh, I have been wearing two pairs of socks for 2 weeks now! There is nothing worse than cold feet.
 
It was a balmy -9 without windchill when I woke up this morning. Yeah, it's a little chilly.

We got dumped on with over 2 1/2 feet of the white crap in the last day and a half. Monday is forecast to be in the low 40's, so it is going to be a freaking mess when all this stuff starts melting
