OP you got screwed plain and simple... Whether you felt you had to live up to your "word" or not didn't matter in this situation because at first he said he wanted the small piece then after you cut it he demanded the larger piece. He just used your sense of honor to manipulate and con you. If you'd have thought about it his own words would have went back to bite him, because he originally chose the smaller piece.



Just be thankful it was a steak rather then a large sum of money.

I was going to eat the whole steak,cut his tires while he's sleepig and leave him alone in the bush :D

I would've just said, "F**k you!" and took my half, and been thankful he showed himself to be the jerk he is.

And, of course, crossed him off my list of future outdoor companions. Better to find out on an overnighter, what an as****e he is, than a 2 weeker.

I would have pissed on him while he was sleeping, but then again, I wouldn't have given up the steak. The cat is a tool and his "lesson", weak. Lose his phone number.

I would have told him to f^ck off and cut the steak in half. He could eat it now, or eat it for breakfast or...f^ck off.

The lesson you should have learned is not to give up your food for anyone.

So let's sum it up: she's a part time model, Pre-Med and her boyfriends an A-hole -- yeah that's your payback, but don't do her as a one time get-even. She sounds like she may be a keeper, way too good for the A-hole.
 
From time to time a few of us can scrap in here but for the most part, I think all of us would get along really well together face to face. We generally, rabidly, agree on the important stuff when it comes to someone's character, etc. That's really more important that bitching and complaining about gear.
