Why not.

My two year old took an interest in my Yella Sodbuster Jr. this evening.

That Corey is way to cool...absolutely priceless. Ironic as my wife is cleaning out closets in our boy's room tonight...both grown and gone but the memories it brings back are precious. Where does the time go???

but these are mine. I boxed up my less traditional knives and carry these two Case Soddies daily.

The color they've attained is amazing and changes daily. The yellow handles just feel right. Gotta love their character.

I haven't met a sodbuster I didn't like. I have all kinds in various colors with various blade steels - Case, Bulldog, Queen, GEC, etc. but day to day, these are the two I use the most. I like the thong holes and use them to attach a GEC bail.

I'm new to all this. But just got my new bullnose in the mail today and it's exactly what I was hoping for. 1\4 longer or so blade wise to the case Jr and a 1\4 inch shorter or so to the standard. Love it it will see a lot of pocket time. When I learn how to post pics. I will get a few up. I think in this aspect I found a gem cause its a 2013 knife and I got it as new. That doesn't happen with gec very often to get a knife as in high demand as this. 2 years after it came out. But thanks again for all the pics. To help me with my purchase.

Glad that you were able to get a great knife Peterson:thumbup: it is one terrific knife in hand...so comfortable, your 2013 offers the 01 steel, a favorite of mine.

Also welcome to an absolutely fantastic forum, glad your here:thumbup:

I've given some of these away in contests, but I still got my good ole' K. Hampton Orange Crush Knutbuster

Peterson, We all have that problem at start. Your picture must be posted on an online service like Photobucket. You have to copy the IMG by clicking on the IMG and then paste it here. That is how on Photobucket others will be different.

I hope you find one john:) I really like the red linen micarta and the F&F on this one is really good too. The blade and back spring are flush in all 3 positions.

I love seeing the used soddies in this thread! The Red Linen Micarta Bullnose is a good one for sure! I hope GEC does another run soon and we see a new handle choice or two sneak in....

556 I'm green with envy on your red bullnose.
Peterson I'm glad you like your bullnose it will surge you well my friend.

Knife diet that patina is gorgeous

Hey just saw on the production sced of gec the have the 21 bull buster coming out with Osage orange wood. Handles. Have they ever done wood on the 21s either?

That Red Linen really shows just how good micarta looks both on a work-knife and a Traditional. Wish the Forum Knife 15 would have this material, but then you have to endure this chorus of "micarta isn't really traditional bla bla". Wrong.:grumpy:

Here's my modest but much liked RR Sodbuster, a bit smaller than a conventional junior but very tidy and well finished, hideously sharp too:D:eek::D

I arrived a bit late for the Bullnose party but agree that the red looks very tidy. Will "settle" on a #21 unless another run of 71's happens along

TY monstrum, the CV's patina inspired my nom de plume. Given a proper steady knife diet of use on carbon steels, they take on their own personality. Meat, taters, veges and sauces combined with proper set times create character :) just can't force character.
Slicing olives, garlic, celery and hot juicy prosciutto with the 3138 tonight ;) I think I've gained a few pounds :D
