Sodbuster...and lots of them!

Elliott, Could you send me the removed shield? I would like to attach it to my knife. A Farm & Field with Nifebright Scales. I can pay the postage.

OK folks, I'm nipping any discussion of "Stars & Bars" before it gets started. There is a political forum. If you want to discuss politics, become a paying member and have a ball.

Here my Case gang. Since a Hunter Green Barnboard sod.Jr. joined the team.

If you ever get around to squeezing it in, please post up some pics!

Here are a few new additions, the Ford Series from Case. I'm really liking the saw cut bone and it has a great blue color. I hope they add some more saw cut to the soddie line!

Next are the two Civil War series Sodbusters, one in Confederate gray with shield and the other in Union Blue with shield. The gray is a great color, very nice.

Last one is a Red jigged bone. This is the same as the Christmas Sodbuster but it does not have the Christmas etch.

Also, GEC is doing a new run of Bullnoses that will be out probably in early fall. I believe 01 is done with so they will all be in 1095. Some of the usual handle materials are being run but there is a new black linen Micarta. I believe Mike at Collectors Knives is doing an SFO of the Nat Can and then there are a couple other SFO handle choices being run but they are not paid dealers, one for sure and the other not that I know of anymore, so I won't post names here. They will be Tortoise Shell Acrylic and Sunbrite Acrylic!

I've been trying to figure how to swap the confederate shield off the grey sodbuster. Really like that grey!
I have never tried to remove one, but when the shield fell out of my 6318, case sent me 2 replacements for free. I doubt you would have any trouble getting something to replace it.

ElliotMcree, do a google search for CA glue remover. Best bet would be a hobby shop as they will have a CA glue remover made by a CA glue company and it will have a thin viscosity to penetrate the space between the slab and the shield. CA stands for Cyanoacrylate glue better known by brand names like super glue and Krazy Glue. You can also use acetone.

Well I must admit the flag on that knife alone in general or mixed company sends the wrong message, best to have both side by side and keep for collectable purposes, anyway not to turn the conv to the wrong thread, main point the union knife is same scales and the shade of blue not to far from the grey, not sure I would try to remove it could damage the knife at least at my limited mechanical skill level

Trev that red is awesome I want one have only seen as the Christmas knife , darn another for the want and must have list
