Sodbuster...and lots of them!

Maroon linen is my back pocket knife when I am not working. The delrin is my back pocket work knife. Both are often combo'd with a modern or a whittle in my coin pocket.

The easy open notch lands right where my ring finger sits and is comfortable enough that it disappears when the knife is in use.

Those two bullnoses look like they get to see some action! As a collector of the pattern I have many that will never see the inside of my pocket, but my users are my favorites!

Love the two that I got, I was expecting the red linen to be a bright berry red but it is more like a rust red that will age beautifully.
The pull on the red is softer than the green but I don't mind either. They both have nice walk and talk, and are great work knives.

Thanks JD! Would love to see the ones you have, feel free to post them in here! I'm always thrilled to see ones I don't have in my own collection!

I found that to be the case on mine as well. In fact, out of the five I got from this run (OD and Red Linen, Natural Canvas, Nifebrite and Tortoise Shell), the red is the only one that's significantly different from the others. It isn't too light, but it doesn't have the same snap as the others.

They do indeed. The patina on the Maroon hasn't settled yet, but there is a lot of dark grey so it is getting there.
The Delrin gets stropped flatly on loaded soft leather since I knocked down the shoulders and convexed it. Due to that, the patina comes and goes. There is always some but it isn't near as prominent as the Maroon.

I will get some clearer photos up today.

My new Ole' Yeller accompanied me to deer camp this week. The etch really gives it a little unique-ness and separates it from the rest of the bullnoses a bit. It's a keeper!!

Not what I would usually go for but I'm happy with it. I'm more of a green micarta fan.

My Delrin gets used more than my Micarta, but often on plastics and cardboard and Much less on organic matter. I also strop it on a loaded soft leather strop which strips much of the patina that it does get.
Due to those factors, the Micarta shows much more patina.

I just received my #71 SUNBRIGHT OLE YELLER and it's basicly perfect. I can't post pics yet but it is alot more pale yellow than my #15 Beer Scout Knife in.Sunbright but very well centered and we'll put together. A very nice knife!

North of the 71 is a 21 in maroon micarta, south is a 15 beer scout sunbright, there is quiet a bit of difference in the two sunbrights.
North of all of them is an OLD TIMER 25OT for reference
