Sodbusters, whos got em'?

Got this SS Case 4 5/8" Navy Blue Sodbuster in yesterday. It had a slight problem (blade wasn't centered) but I fixed it and it's good to go now. Just fits in my front pocket. Should be a great carry knife.

Some of you guys have been posting about your new Sodbusters -- let's see em!!!!!

Ed,Every one of those ive bought black or blue handle has had a off center blade.Did you put it in the vise and krink it a little?

Excellent Ed.Neat Krink procedure.Yes,the damascus soddie is a workhorse, but its an ugly beast i have to admit.( : Thanks Rob,next one i make will be more like yours.Rounder handle and fatter blade.

I love the Sodbuster pattern and have 39 of them some are more rare and some are more expensive but all of them still grab my attention. The customs coming on the market lately have been to notch. I am trying my hand a rehandling some now and hope it works.

Got me a new Case soddie in cv over the weekend. love the feel of this little knife. Now i got to work on the patina, trying to decide whether to force it or let it patina naturally. Thanks to all who have posted theirs here, some very beautiful knives.

@ don: That knife is very amazing. Enjoy that one. Is it a user or "just" part of the collection?

Kind regards
Andi

Here's a Sodbuster I recently finished for a customer, it's CPM 154 blade and spring and old white Micarta. I tried to keep as much of the aged color as I could.

Keith you've put out some beauties but that one is just classic! Congrats to you and the lucky new owner

Keith, that sodbuster is a home-run. I've never been a big sodbuster fan, but that old white micarta could have me changing my mind.

Here are some crappy pics of my Case Sodbuster that I rescaled with snakewood and tried my hand at filework. Any tips on loosening up the pivot? I made it tight on purpose thinking that it would loosen up over time, but it is still pretty stiff.

Might as well add the latest made by GEC: 01 Tool Steel blade.
