Special Bladeforums Buck?

How about the BG42 blade in a titanium 110. Light, finger grooved, good finger guard (more or less, kinda like the 112).

Yeah, Jeff, I hopped over from the other forum...

I'm all for the Titanium 110 with BG42 blade only with a thumb stud and leather sheath. For me the ultimate 110, one hand opening and light.

Gotta admit that in addition to a BG-42 Lightning, joh's suggestion of an anodized titanium finger grooved one hand opening BG-42 #110 is very appealing. Matter of fact, I think it just went to the top of my list over my previous #110 suggestion and the 532s I love so much

You can choose which model you prefer now by going to the Surveys section of the site and voting. That should make it a bit easier.

A one-handed opening 110!!! Is such an animal possible??? That would be awesome!

I saw this thread for the first time today. Looks like no activity for over a year, with no solid decision on what form the BladeForums Buck would take. Sounds like most votes were going to some version of the 110 with a BG-42 blade. Did the knives coming out of PCKS kill interest in a BladeForums version?

Best regards to all,
Tim

BG-42, 110, micarta scales will be very nice.

This is the first time I ever saw this thread. Did the Buck Bladeforums knife ever become a reality? I must admit I would love a Bladeforums Buck 110 with a BG42 blade. The Buck 112 with a BG-42 blade is also a good choice. I hope this idea can be revived.

110 - Ti - BG-42 - Thumbstud and Pocket Clip!!!!

Can I send you a check now?

I really like the 110 and have a bunch. If only it were a little thinner, lighter and one handed opening. Now put a tip-up clip on it and it would be too cool to be cool.

I think that it should be a 112 Ranger, because the 110 is too common for this special commemorative project.

Model 110.
BG42 w/thumbstud.
Anodized Ti handle w/fingergrooves.
Great idea Joh !
An anodized thumbstud might set it off pretty well also. Count me in !

What do you all think if the knife was offered through Pete's Custom knife Shoppe? I have no idea if it can be done but if this is not even a popular option, i wont pursue it.
