I signed up for a stretch too, I've never owned a Stretch and figured one in HAP40 would be a good way to start.
 
I was going to wait for the DF and maybe the Stretch but after seeing this thread pop up and checking it out every couple of days I had to spring for an Endura. Just got it today and after a trip on the EdgePro I'm pretty impressed. I don't have any compound to strop with so I wasn't able to it get hair popping sharp but its the shapest edge I can remember putting on a blade. Very impressive. Definitely making me think twice about getting other blades in this flavor.
 
I have a Delica on the way.
Dammit, this is what happens when I spend too much time on the forums. I wish it had a black clip though. I like the contrast between colorful handles and black pocket clips.

This is my experience with the Delica. I've had a lot of different knives in most of the well known super steels and have no problem putting a hair whittling edge on any of them (except ZDP-189 maybe :roll eyes: ) but the HAP-40 D4 takes it to a new level. So much so that I just ordered an E4 before they're all gone. Fantastic steel!
 
Got my Delica today. The color is like that of a pumpkin in my opinion. It came wicked sharp but my bevels are a little un-even. Is 15 DPS a good geometry to go for with this steel?

So far so good! I jumped on it as early as I could. I see they are sold out now. I keep checking my email to make sure I got one.

the nice lady at The C.S. said "the limit hold", of "1 per person" got forgot about..
So they sold out...

Someone sell me one, your not suppose to have 2!!!! Lmao
 
Desperate times, this is the first Spyderco I've allowed myself to get price gouged on.

I just remembered missing out on the super blue Delica and how upset I was that I couldn't find one ever.

I hope you guys are right about this hap40 steel

It's not actually for me.. My friends wife would like to get him one for Vday..
So I was trying to secure one for her.
 
My order got cancelled as well. Grr. That was my first and last order with them.

Hopefully the blog post I did will be a rock in their shoe, and my review on Yelp knocked them down half a star.
