Spyderco HAP40 Thread

Just ordered a Endura.. (Wasn't sure if I was going to get one or not). Once they are gone, might not get a second chance at one..
Hopefully that and the Stretch show up at similar times! :)

I read somewhere, they are limited to 1200 per knife??

I know of one in my local shop. And they have an online site too. PM me and I'll send you the name. It was there as of Saturday. They also have a Super Blue stretch. Also, that "site" that only sells Spyderco knives has the hap40 Delicas in stock...

I missed out on a Delica and as fast as these things are going figured it would be best just to preorder it.

That's no guarantee you'll get one. They don't limit the pre-orders. They go through the stock filling the pre-orders until they run out of stock. At least they won't bill your credit card unless they ship you one. I believe they go in first come, first serve order, and they've been taking pre-orders a long time. But it certainly won't cost anything to try.

EDIT: Top quality knives stills says "Expected Arrival Date is 3rd Feb 2016" on their page.

I'm new to pre order.. But it doesn't seem like they all do it that way?

TQK had a pre order I got on, money wasn't taken for a day and a half. Once it was, I checked back and they had it marked "sold out"..
The site still says, it will be the 3rd till they get the in..

Maybe some take more "care" in the amount of stock they are getting? (Hopefully, since I was billed)

Then again, I still have money for 2 Delica's, on hold, on my CC from a company that I paid for and order got cancelled.. :( wwwwhhhhyyyyyy.... Lol..
 
Yeah. It's kind of a learning process. I don't have any experience with TQK. But forewarned is forearmed, and let us know how it turns out!

There's a couple numbered ones up on flea bay.
 
I saw them earlier.. Still not as "over priced"(over what most companies where selling for) as the Delica's I posted about earlier.. Lol..

Just snagged a stretch. Almost went for two but whatever, I can only use one at a time. They had 2 left as of 5 minutes ago
 
I ended up canceling my order at blade hq and snatching one from knife works since I live so close to them.
