Yo - whatever! The actual topic of this THREAD is this: Spyderco Tenacious not so popular? Some of us were just explaining why we don't buy it. If you don't like the explanation - too DAMN bad! The reason WWII was fought is because people were unable to think for themselves and followed the crowd without question - sort of like what you obviously do.
A lot of people DO speak German, Japanese, or Russian these days. I can still read some German and I speak Russian. Why should that matter to you?
This is the blade discussion forum. If you have "nationalistic" reasons -- for anything -- take them to Current Events or the Political Arena, please.
I am respectful to those who merit it. It was you who wanted to know why the knife it isn't popular with some of us. Now you know.
You forgot two important things.
1) Not everyone in this forum lives in the USA (I don't)
2) Japan does not loves the USA, remember a little event called WW2?
Finally the Tenacious is a very popular knife regardless of where it is made. It does not matter how much you hate China that does not changes the fact that the Tenacious is selling well.
Yo seem to forget that Spyderco is a US company. LOL American nationalist people that think like that are the reasons why there was WW2. People like that make me :barf:
LOL
This forum topic is about the popularity of the Tenacious, it has nothing to do with your nationalism or where the knife is made.
And to answer the OP question: Yes the tenacious is a very popular knife, currently one of the best selling Spyderco knives.
PS: You do seem to support non US knives in this thread: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=673980&page=3
Stop your nonsense, be respectful and stay on topic.
No one asked that. The original question was if the Tenacious is popular; not why or why not you like it.
And you should learn to gain respect yourself. I have added you to my ignore list, so please don't waste your time posting replies that are out of topic.
I just have to repeat the wise words of Benyamin to you:

Japan is an allie of the USA. WWII was a long time ago pal. If you are from China and you have access to a computer you won't want a Tenacious either because you are probably wealthy. If you want to buy products from a communist nation that supports terror just to save a couple bucks have at it.That is why it is unpopular with me.
In hate to break this to you beky but you were the one who put up the gag emoticon and got personal. Maybe you should let the moderators do their job for themselves instead of complaining when someone disagrees with you. That said, I am done with this thread.
Why do women think they always have to have the last word?I just have to repeat the wise words of Benyamin to you:

Why do women think they always have to have the last word?I already apologized, so can't we now just be friends again?
But that does not change the fact that there are alternative $40 knives that are just as good, or bad, as the Tenacious.
This has nothing to do with the topic, and no one asked your opinion. And respect the fact that I am a woman not a pal. You did not even read my user name.
By the way I was born in the USA so stop bashing. I live outside of the US but am a proud american.
Also you did not read the thread topic it is not "Bashing China" it is about the tenacious popularity, nothing to do with China or US.
I will resond to this for the last time so I'm not beating a dead horse. First I responded why I don't care for the Tenacious because of it's place of origin which happens to be China.Second, this is a public forum so I really don't need your permission to make a remark. Third, I didn't realize you were a woman so don't be sooo sentitive. Putting out "barfing" emoticons and saying people with certain opinions are the reason for WWII is highly offensive so maybe you should show a little respect also. Third I really don't care where you came from or where you currently reside because that really has nothing to do with the subject. I didn't mean to offend you by calling you "pal" but stand behind everything else.
