spydercos best model?

I own about 10 Spyerco's. The Delica is part of my key chain so it it usually with me.

My favorite is probably my S90V FFG Manix 2. To me this knife is perfection in a EDC.

My favorite Spyderco is the Military M4. Great steel Great head treat. Great ergos. Great size. Great blade design. It's light, fast, strong, efficient and a dream to handle.

I like the steel, thin edge and hollow grind of the Gayle Bradley, but the lack of relief for the lock and weird exposed liners drops it from any consideration for me. (However, those things can be fixed.)

I also like the real Manix, a big, beefy FFG slicer that handles well.

I like the SS ATR better than the Ti. Every Ti ATR I've owned had a bit of up and down blade play. Lock-up is dead tight on all the SS I have.

There are so many amazing Spydercos. No matter how many knives I own from so
MAny companies I always come back to Spyderco. There are so many ti choose from. The Military, Gayle Bradley, Bob Turzuola, Stretch 2, Chokwe, Kukri, leafstorm, Delica 4, Balance, Ladybug, Caly 3. So many. A very hard choice
If I could only have 1

Sage 2

But I would be very sad

Ps I have not handled the Paramilitary 2

I have one that I got new (a Ti ATR PE) and it's always been extremely tight, no play...but even if there is vertical play, there is actually no safety or reliability issue with the compression lock, as far as I know.

Light duty EDC - Sage 1 and/or 2. Conversely, I put one side of the carbon fiber handle on my Ti version so I had a CF/frame lock. Not as sexy as I had hoped. Both Sages looked sexier stock, but keeping it like that awhile just for the helluvit.

Heavier duty EDC - I love both my Manix IIs (154CM HG and CTS-HXP FFG models) - highly underrated gimping, especially on the tang of the blade. Extremely grippy.

Super heavy duty MoFo EDC - Should have my Gayle Bradley tomorrow. So we'll just see about that. I expect it to impress.

For me, the Leafstorm is my favorite at this moment. The Street Beat is one I aim to get soon. I have owned many Spyderco knives and all were well made quality pieces. Only a few have kept me interested for more than a month or two. I feel that as my life situations change so do my qualifications for EDC's.... ;)

If I had to choose from all my Spydercos I would pick my FRN stretch II in VG10. I don't have a GB yet but I'm sure that I will. Maybe my vote will change then but I doubt it.

For me, the CF Caly 3 ZDP... I think it's the sharpest spyderco I own.
I do like de Dyad too (just wish it has a premium steel instead of ATS55).
And I just received the Titanium Military. This will have a place in my pocket for a while now...

And this one is the perfect 3" folder.

Hands down, the spyderco bug.

It slices, it dices, it chops, it batons, you can shave with it, you could preform emergency surgery.

Thing is HUGE!!

Seriously though, I think my Millie and Cat are in the top.

Greetings Users! I'm a giant n00batron here to the forum and to the knife community at large. Even though I've always carried some sort of blade, it was only this past year that I've started to build a humble collection (still under a dozen pieces--nothing 'high-end' yet,) but so far I've been really digging those Spydercos! I only have five Spydies to date; just thought I'd add my two cents for what it's worth...

Best Spyderco: Kiwi 3 stainless steel slip-joint... (!?!) I like to frequently alternate my larger folders, but regardless of the folder I choose, this little guy always rides shotgun. It's people-friendly, compact, unique & classy-looking, has great ergonomics, and the Wharncliffe blade is perfect for opening letters and everyday packages. Best $20 I've ever spent!

Welcome to the forums, Timberweasel! You will find that any dollar spent on a Spyderco knife is a dollar well spent.
