Same handle as the Benchamde Vex but with a different blade shape!
I believe i "need" one:D

BTW guys, has any of you tried the Inron Knife MY802 or the Navy K615?
If so, what can you say about them?

Is 913P blade same as 939? This is first time I got to know about it!

I don't know, here is a German testing video about it:

I got the Sanrenmu 913P the other day. It's a bit more expensive (~€30) than the others but in my opinion you get extremely much knife/quality/feel for that money. One of my 2012 top buys definitely. I have noticed that some claim it's a "fake" SRM (together with 910+ and T08) made by MingRen factory? Anyone know more about this? Anyway it's a beautiful piece of knife and the quality is superb.

I had the 910 + and it was nicely made with Sandvik steel. Unfortunately, the goofy and unnecessary add-on lock fell off almost immediately. The real lock was just fine.

I haven't seen it being sold lately.

The German shop says he's trading directly with SRM over 3 years and has achieved a close relationship.
So I would assume it's SRM

Than again he is also selling the T08 (among other shops) as a SRM
So I don't know.

Böker also sells the T08 under the name Magnum Timberman
Besides SRM they also re-brand some Enlans
The same is done by Linder, Black Fox and Rui

Would it be possible the T08 is made by SRM or is it a fact it is produced by MingRen?

Looks like Boker has been re-branding some Chinese knives

Re-branded Enlan EL06

This is crazy lol, but hey now people can get these knives without "supporting a company that makes copies of other knives" like Sanrenmu and Enlan

There are a lot more Chinese models Boker rebrands

Rebranding is very common.
I see Puma rebranding a lot of Spanish knives.
Rebranding always goes with a higher price.

Some years ago I bought a rebranded sanrenmu 728 by Boker.
I was aware Sanrenmu made the same knife but at the time I thought Boker commissioned them with a different steel.
So I paid at least double the price for the same knife
I like that knife though, shame it's discontinued (version without bolster) :(

I've gotten 2 shipments of Chinese knives now, one made it in 12 days, one in 10! Holy crap that's fast (I live in NM, USA).
They must do the customs on the China end, they shipped USPS 1st class. So, very pleased with that.

Today I got an Enlan El01 (marked BEE, could live without their logo), overall great. Can't budge the "triad" nut.
The one on the EL04 had kind of a groove in it, I was able to fit a small screwdriver and twist, no go on this one.
Pivot tension is about right though, ZERO play, liner lock makes full contact, plus a little bit, couldn't ask for better.
Ran it under hot water a lot, these knives seem to come coated with almost a grease, takes a bit to clean up.
Blade had a couple spots on it, looked like rust, but polished off. Can't flip the blade all the way out with the flipper,
but that may improve with lube and use.

They really get the G10 texture PERFECT. I have some new Spydercos that are TOO grippy. They rip your pants up!
The EL01 is just right (like baby bear?) I have a couple stains or marks in the tan G10, they did not clean off with a scrubby,
oh well. My biggest issue so far is the grooves in the G10. On the side with the clip, the grooves have almost sharp edges,
back to tearing up the pocket! I am sure I can smooth them out a bit with sandpaper though (while wet, of course).
Lets see, maybe the sharpest China knife I have gotten so far, almost up to my standard : ) Grind is even and smooth,
will push cut copy paper. Overall, pretty darn good knife.

Update on Navy k611. Same as my last k631, there're uneven size between the two handles. From the side, it's not obvious.

Closed, from tang view, a bit more obvious, see the right side is thicker & taller.
8170999721_4a0673937b_b.jpg

Opened and stand it on the handle guard, it is now obvious!

Nothing disrupting the functionality though. The k631, on the other hand, has this problem on the spine. The knife can't be put down on spine without falling to one side.

WTF? Is Case making their knives now? ;)

Are you saying it's common for Case products to be like this? My previous two k631s didn't have this issue. The latest k631 & k611 (bought on different occasions) both have this.

I guess it's just Navy being as Navy, making 'lookalike' design more than their own.

2 Questions for those more experienced:

1. I ordered an EL-01 through exd**t website on October 18th. Their tracking system is a complete joke...how long does it normally take for these orders to deliver in the USA? (I'm in New York) .... is there any good way to reach their customer service or anything? I'm disappointed with this wait and likely will not order from them again.

2. I ordered from this "usual" website because it seemed like one of the few places I could still find an "Enlan" branded EL-01...most of the ones on ebay are "Bee" an I really don't like that Fisher-Price look. Going forward is this what I can expect? Is "Bee" the one making these knives now for good? Are they not being made labeled "Enlan" any longer? Also with Boker making their version...what does that really mean long term? Will they buy the design out and be the exclusive seller of this knife under their name and pricepoint?

Thanks in advance for ANY info.

It's not "their" tracking system. It's actually USPS one, in a partnership called China Post. It won't show any change until it gets processed in intake center here, which has always been through Chicago or NYC for my orders.

I've only gotten these knives through the big auction place, and they always take about 2.5 weeks in hand. That's assuming that they did indeed ship them within 2-3 days after ordering -- perhaps that company only ships every week or something, dunno.

Send email to Exduct. I think they stated during October there was a long public holiday in China, which might cause the delay. 3 weeks is the usual timeframe I got them, sometimes faster, sometime longer.

Don't know about Bee / Enlan branding except that both same in quality.

Where did you read this and who exactly is offering the $10 voucher?

When I track my order it looks as if it still hasn't left china...ordered on Oct 18th....this is simply unacceptable.
