Stone Cold Shame

I remember all the flack the BM AXIS Bone Collector series got and that is an exceptional knife which is now in demand after being discontinued. Anybody remember the Nutnfancy Spyderco? The Steve Segal Kershaw?

I didn't think Spyderco had anything to do with the Nutn tenacious beyond the initial production of the knife.

Bone Collector meant deer hunting. Steven Segal was a finely fitted made in Japan liner lock that had ray skin inserts. It was brought out at about 150 dollars and never sold well. I picked one up for 50 in a sporting goods shop. They have never brought much even though they were very well made. I still have this one. it's liner pops into place with a very precise manner. I'm sure this CS will sell well, I like it don't need it and I'm not a fan of WWF or Steven Segal either but for 50 bucks I thought it would be worth more someday, it's not.

lmao! Cmon.... it's made in Taiwan.
I'd really like it if American manufacturers stepped up and offered more folders with blades 4" or longer. Usually they get discontinued. Once you got pretty much what's out there you have to find another source.

Bone Collector also meant Mike Wadell whoever that is. Nice Segal. Always wanted one of those. Not to nitpick but the Segal was made with AUS6 IIRC and he's made more cheesy movies than most martial artists.

It's 8 not 6. Bone Collector is Waddell's trademark, it refers to his collecting deer heads.

The Broken Skull is selling for less than $50 on bladehq.

With that, it is a better knife in every measurable than the Steven Segal, or even the venerable Spyderco Endura.

The jamming it up on its name is hilarious. No more ridiculous a name that "Nuclear Meltdown Battle Mistress"

But the interwebs can always deliver on lulzy hypocrisy.

Ha. Blade hq dropped em like a bad habit. Congrats to those that got the deal.

I never said the CS wasn't a better knife. I only said I wasn't a fan of Segal, or Austin and I found the Kershaw Years ago on sale for 50 dollars. Bought it because it originally sold for much more. It's never had much of a collector following.

Holy crap. If they kept Austin out it would have been a slam dunk. But never underestimate the power of knife nerds.

I was also disappointed that the knife came with such words and letters, but knowing CS I was sure the product was going to be great.

It is a reason to enjoy, be happy and grateful, not to disapprove, look away and bash anyone/anything. Just have fun! I wholeheartedly recommend them both, one from experience, the other from long experience with the company and initial impressions!

I agree in one thing though. It'd look much nicer with a proper stonewash/satin finish!

I think It's DLC, so it will probably be a mofo to get off. Nice looking knife otherwise.
