Strider SmF CC Black Oxide 3/4 Grind in CPM 3V

That is a nice folder J. I need to slow down on my buying so I can get my first AD10 paid for.

Dang it all now, Jim, I'm gonna have to get one. Did see some doozies at Knife Art. Something for the new Edge Pro to play with.

I had to pass on the S110V SmF from TNK because I have mine coming really soon.

I was actually going to ask why 3V rather than S110V - is what's coming another Strider? If yes, SnG or SMF? Not trying to grill you, but curious. :)

I was considering the S110V as well, but I think coated 3V better suits the hard use role of a Strider, though it would have made more sense to use a FFG for more strength, 3V is tough enough to handle a hollow grind. I also find myself wondering if I couldn't have a custom folder made with S110V for the same price($575). Plus I would have wanted the G10 scale to be contoured as well for symmetry's sake.

I was referring to another Demko Custom. :)

The tip is more reinforced on the Hollow Ground than the standard Drop point FFG.

I don't have a standard FFG anymore or I would take comparison photos.

Been thinking of buying that strider in s110 from knifeart . If you had to take a guess what category would you put s110 in ?

Any thoughts on the knife in particular? I'm terribly curious about the rumored fit and finish issues with Strider. I'm also curious about how it feels in hand, whether it has that "fits like a glove" feeling you get with an XM-18, a Sebenza, and the AD-10. Also wanted to know whether it bothers you much that you only get about 3 1/2" of cutting edge on a knife with a 4" blade, as I find it easier to make heavy cuts with the edge closer to the handles.

This isn't my 1st Strider SmF CC. ;)

You can tell by my photos that the F&F is excellent just like my last SmF CC.

This one is even cleaner than my last one, can't find anything wrong with this one, looks like they are paying more attention to the very small details as they go on.

Like my others ones there is zero play in any direction, bank vault lockup.

Strider SmF's fit my hand great, better than the Sebenza or XM-18, it's a feel thing for me.

Always liked the choil, makes for one of the most comfortable knives and more controllable knives to use IMO, you can really choke up on the blade.

The SmF is designed to be used in any environment under any condition, with or without gloves and IMO is one of the best designs available at any price.

Nothing is like an AD-10 except an AD-10 though.
