Daywalker said:SF's made out of 420J2 with the short clip "would" be considered a true 1st run. I *think* some guys in Germany are thrilled to have acquired one before the next generation comes out, which will have a longer clip, and AUS8 steel stamped on the SF's blade...

In my last post I forgot something...![]()
Congrats on your great knife getting even better!
I can't wait to get my hands on the 2nd. Generation CLB SF!
Daywalker said:Anyway, thanks again you crazy knifebrothers, and be advised that there are not many if any, SF 1st gen. models left. I heard that BokerUSA had to ship some out to Germany...about 400, to help out with the demand for the SF there!

When I get back from vacation, I'll post what Fred Perrin had to say about
the SubCom Folder. I think you'll like it.
Thanks, TJT

Daywalker said:Quoted From Dr. Hannibal Lecter:
Dear Friends,
I am also in receipt of a SubCom and am quite impressed. I am going to carry it daily for a while and see how it works out. Very small and unobtrusive, but I believe it will be exceedingly useful.

Dr. Hannibal Lecter said:My Dear Daywalker:
Let me add an addendum to this tale, if I might: I am EXCEEDINGLY impressed with this knife. The 420J2 stays sharp WAY longer than I have any right to expect and takes a razor edge. The ergos are second to none. The fact that it disappears in your pocket until needed is nothing short of amazing.
This is EXACTLY what a "little big knife" is supposed to be.
Congratulations, Chad, on a flawless design.
