I have a question about the handle of the subcom. Is it really G-10? To me it feels an awful lot like zytel. Compared to all the other G-10 handles i've held, this one seems more rigid. Maybe i'm crazy?:confused:

Anyways it is an awsome little knife!:thumbup:

It's Zytel. Most online vendors mistakenly call it G-10, which it's not.

Takes a lot of abuse too.

Wow, so ya got one, eh? Glad you like it, and thanks much for your support!

As my knifebrother Scott indicated, the G10 has been a long standing typo...See, ideally, my SF *was* to wear a G10 scale. However, the manufacturer for some reason could not get an adequate amount of G10 for the first run, so they made a zytel scale...all of this AFTER the spec release was given to vendors.:( They did do a great job on the steel lined zytel scale...however:

I would have prefered the G10.;)

I've been carrying my Basic Biscuit for about two months now...it has totally replaced my world traveling Cricket in my EDC!

Can't wait for the Warnie, the Honey Biscuit (tan), the Rescue Roll, the Burnt Biscuit (all black).

Oh yeah something about a fixed blade...

Be advised, the "Burnt Biscuit" will be the first one out of them all, even though logic dictates by your nickname for it, it should come out last?:confused: :rolleyes: The rest *should* come out in November...

He makes the Fobs himself....and really does a fantastic job...you should see some of his work!:D .....Doc

Sorry I didn't reply sooner, but like the zip said, I make them myself.

That paticular fob is what I call my FAF (Fully Adjustable Fob). I designed it to be adjustable to a paticular knife/light/person/etc... The first one I made was for the SF and was promptly sent to DAYWALKER.

Ditto!!! ghostrider makes amazing fobs...my whole family uses them!:thumbup:

Downtown LA...a bit of rust, but remember it is first edition steel...and the caretaker holds some blame as well. :o
