I have to tell you I don't ever stray from Spydies, but this one is just too interesting:cool: I'll leave feedback when it arrives but I have to say I hope your receiving commision checks on a regular basis. You seem to deserve it:eek:

Aloha thefly01,

Hey! Good to see you here!

Please do keep us posted okay? Mahalo for your support.:)

Dear Friends,

I have been EDCing the SubCom constantly of late and am still amazed at how well it cuts and handles. Chad's designs are positively astounding and Boker's execution of them flawless.

Waiting for the WharnCom is admittedly getting difficult. The Rescue version will go out to a few friends that are Paramedics and EMTs.

And the Trance? I MUST have one of those... :D

Alohahahahaha SSifu,

"Dr. Han"?!? ROTFLOL!!! That's a good one! Just make a mental note though: Do not compete in any tournaments on Dr. Han's Island! IF I do go, bring a Rescom!

:D

God bless and thanks bro's:cool:

This could honestly be the end all of the "money clip" knife:eek: I bought this knife for my wife who is in sales and cutting down boxes often. when it came in I wanted to see how sharp it really was, I managed to shave and knick myself:D This knife is absolutely flawless at intricate cuts! In any case my wife is very happy with this purchase:thumbup: Which is a huge deal for me being that I'm often talking to a wall about my knife collection;) I'm sure this makes sense to a few here. Anyway, if you don't have one splurge on this ridiculously inexpensive do it all knife:D Thanks Chad!

I also found the clip too tight to work so I made a spacer out of a bleach bottle. It helped, but unfortunately I lost one of the screws!

Boker USA is out. Any idea where I may find some more?

With a background in machinery design my hat is off to you Chad!

Thanks, Bustelo

Bustelo,
I am the one you talked to about the screws.
I got some in this afternoon, and will be shipping them in the next few
days.
Thanks, TJT

Aloha the fly01!

Wow, thanks for such kind words and great feedback. Reading such posts after working where I do, really makes my day! Anyway...

Was the SF used with a "stock edge"? If so, you should try swiping it a few times on a white ceramic stone, like the ones the Sharpmaker comes with. Then, upon opening, make the sound effect that Star Wars lightsabers make!;)

Ahhhhhhh..."the wifey" eh? Well, it's kinda like when they talk to us about shoes, right?:D :p Ooh, I better shut up, or I will look like this: :foot:

Anyway, mahalo much and do keep us posted here.

God bless and take care:thumbup:

Aloha and welcome Bustelo!

Thanks for your kind words and for supporting the "Biscuit"! However...next time, please just grab a plier, an old rag, take off the clip and then bend it to your desired tension! Making a spacer is too much work!:p Well, maybe not for you with your background!;)

Fortunately, Boker USA got Terry there to help out, so your SF will be up and running in no time! Mahalo TJT!

God bless and take care:)

Just got my Subcom folder today! My friend brought it to work to give it to me (it got shipped with a knife he had on backorder). Very solid feeling, very smooth action, solid lockup, and fits and feels great in my hand...I love this little knife! I was anticipating my SF since I'm going to Hawaii for vacation beginning of next week and wanted to take the SF with me. I'm looking forward to picking up an all black version too. Great design and knife Chad!...thanks much!

Aloha Johnny,

Hey buddy, try emailing me again...I didn't get it. Just in case we don't get to talking, enjoy your trip and be safe!

Anyways...off to Hell.:(

God bless and mahalo much:thumbup:

Chad - resent. Gimme a call if you're around. Take care.

Um...Hey JSR...

You may have to resend your resent email...I never got it?

Enjoy your trip, and get ready man...Maui is HOT right now...well, as always.

God bless and mahalo:thumbup:

Aloha ALL,

Well, guess I will say this here, as I don't know where the Desert Tan SF thread went!:o

I been carrying this SFV (SUBCOM Folder Variant) for a few weeks now, more than my PE SF. At first, it was just to add some "color" in my Knife Life, and the color reminded me of how I like my coffee!:D However...

The DTSF (figure it out:p ) has reminded me of how much I had missed using serrations. I had been an avid CE carrier for many years, but stopped buying CE's because I just got away with using a PE for everything since I got into Corrections. No knives are carried in Hell...:grumpy:

A few swipes on my Spyderco Pro-File white stone, and it's back to scary sharp.

I must say, that this could very well be the "ultimate" knife in it's size class. (By this I mean compared to most "keychain types"! Really!);)

So thanks everyone, without all of you, these variants could not have been made possible. Now heads up...as you all know, there are more coming...;)

God bless and thank you:thumbup:
