First of all to this young man, I am fairly certain that every one who has been posting on this thread is considered your senior, therefore try to be respectful and also LISTEN!

Kudos to you to have developed such a passion for fine knives and other hobbies from eras gone by while other juveniles in early teens are into other contemporaneous hobbies which happen to be alien to older folks like me. That said, you are at the disadvantage of being very young therefore you MUST earn the respect of those who are clearly not in your peer group. Your behavior has been anything but!

Lastly, curiosity is a wonderful thing and if you have the zeal for working with your hands, dismantling, fixing and reassembling things, back that trait up by owning your mistake. You clearly voided your inspection courtesy and privilege when you opened up the seller's knife. Whether he misrepresented or not, your decision at that point to go your certain way absolved his liability.

That's why I'm staying out of this, I remember some of the dumb ass stuff I said and did a few years ago. I have to admit though I am laughing my ass off at these comments roasting him. :D
 
i made a mistake by taking it apart I'm sorry but the point was that the knife came to be bone dry and with a sticky lock..
 
Has nothing to do with balls. Best to protect your personal info. You can literally get ruined by identity thieves without anyone actually laying a glove on you. Just saying.

P.S. I am not referring to folks who are razzing on you here but there are always some people who while unregistered may be looking at different popular websites to pick up and to steal invaluable info. That's all.
 
I swear seems lately I read more and more posts like this ... and feel sorry for the OP having to deal with this ... and everyone else for having to read it again and again.
And to the buyer ... a wise man once said never miss the chance to shut the hell up while you're ahead ... because a 18 year old or 13 year old just has no clue how much they don't know yet ... try a bit of respect to get some back ... and all the "stuff" in the world that you may or may not own ... or may or may not know ... you have a long way to go to be an adult yet ...
glad you enjoy some hobbies other then XBOX truely I am ... but try losing the hobby of bragging and puffing out your chest trying to prove anything from hehind a computer ... it may save you alot of grief in the future ...

and the asking for a discount after saying you'll take it ... kinda messed up ...

and you fixed the lock stick with all your skills and years of wisdom ... that'll show em ...

oh wait maybe I didn't fix it ... could it possibly be theres something I don't know ? GASP ...

oh sorry I forgot to put a LOL or a HAHAHA in my post ... there now I feel all better and special ... smh
