Sunny, do yourself a big favor and put something together to work it out with the seller in terms of an apology. This will not make you a lesser man but quite the opposite. If you were in fact merely 13-14 when you started buying knives, and if this is indeed your own account, I am sure that you were in violation of some TOS which could potentially expose you to getting banned. You may now say that you could not care less, but you will. Take the high road, bridge your differences privately with the seller, learn and move on. If you ask nicely, Andrew may even close this clusterfark!
The saddest part is I love encouraging young people that are interested in knives ... outdoor pursuits ... or anything creative that they have a passion for ... but some there is no teaching them anything ... they know it all already ...

I think you've got it now but if I could give you some advice.
Don't say I'll take it and then negotiate after.
If you have any problems with a sell/trade let the other person know immediately.
As soon as you choose to disassemble,clean or sharpen etc. it's yours.
Now let's change the subject a little. Tell us more about the car if you'd like. I'm hoping the blower is gone with a turbo in its place. Independent rear still there or is it solid now?
