I wasn't and I made a flippant response but you're right Tokerblue. I can't explain that. It appears they've been sending out big orders, GSO6s, 4.5s, 5.1s, but that's not looking like it's really denting their stats. These lists might make more sense if we had an idea of total knife orders we're looking at, also the knife types.

Are they waiting on hundreds of knives or thousands? I know in the past when I placed 2 orders about 3 weeks apart the order # jumped up almost 200 indicating to me there were 200 orders placed within a couple of weeks.

I am curious of the actual numbers as well, but that only matters in the sense of how many people they have potential to screw over.

As far as an indicator of "how Survive is doing", it doesn't really matter as the answer is the same. Crappy.

If you are basing conclusions on ANY order numbers provided by Ellie and Guy you need to read this thread in its entirety.

I agree 100%. Hypothetically, let's say you have A LOT of orders unfulfilled from 2015 and 2016. If you don't admit to having SOME orders outstanding from those years, people with outstanding orders will call you out publicly. However, if you say that there are "just a few" orders outstanding, no one has any way to challenge your numbers and you can minimize public complaints from customers that have been waiting for 7 years.

You can look at the recent comments on S!Ks Facebook posts and see customers complaining about unanswered emails and wait times taking longer than expected. Ellie chimes in with THE SAME excuses she used here in 2015. This company has been in business for almost a decade and in all that time they cannot find a way to consistently answer emails.

Randomizing order numbers but making sure they're greater than previous orders just to appear that they're receiving a lot of orders. Diabolical.

Why are you carrying their water? They've been afforded the opportunity to come here and explain for themselves what's going on, and yet they haven't.
 
I don’t know how S!K can sleep at night knowing they are screwing over 7 year old orders. I guarantee the resulting knife isn’t worth the wait.

Survive lives up to their name- like a bunch of cockroaches they seem to be able to withstand just about anything. Friggin’ weasels.
