What's hilarious are all the smoothbrains lapping up Guy's comments on the DBK video, many of which are absolutely word for word identical to comments they'd made here for years. Also, they continue to throw Millett under the bus. I wish Millett would have posted about their incompetence and listed out all of their failings, but I can understand why they didn't. They just took the high road and vacated the area. Meanwhile, that scumbag Guy continues to slander them to anyone who'll listen. All these simpletons making comments like "We know it's hard to start a small business, we'll be here to support you all the way!!!" as though Scumbag! Knives hasn't been around for like a decade of shady business practices. LMAOOOO

I think the truth is usually somewhere in the middle. I doubt he is the scam artist you guys would love to paint him as. And I doubt he’s some diligent angel trying his best as he’d like to paint himself as. Some people have gotten their knives. I’ve seen them comment as such (I’m sure some here believe they were paid or shills blah blah blah cognitive dissonance). I’ve seen “Waited 5 years but it finally arrived!” I’ve talked to people that waited a long time and finally got their knives. And I’m sure there were people who got them after a while and were so disgusted with their experience they didn’t even want them anymore and quickly turned around and sold them. I think it’ll work itself out. I think if SK! wants to survive… they’ll complete or refund orders as they can. But I also know they care very little about the opinions of a small group of angry people that are going to hate them no matter what they do (especially those with no skin in the game), or people that will never give them a chance in the first place. They will continue on as long as they can and it won’t be this thread… or you 8 angry guys that determine their fate. No matter how much selective moral outrage you wanna muster. Or how many insults you wanna fling at anyone who disagrees with you.

Still confused. I’m not defending anyone. And pointing out someone’s bad behavior doesn’t indicate that it has upset me. It’s not even why I posted here this go around… but dealing with the toxic members in this thread becomes sort of part of the deal. Sorta like working with pigs… you’re gonna get dirty.

Well, you see, he isn't DEFENDING them, he's simply engaging in discussion in which he argues against all legit complaints with non-sequiter crap and self righteous rage. He's not upset though. He just had nothing better to do than say he bought an S!K knife because we said it wasn't a good idea, but that's totally reasonable behavior.

This isn't an iPhone forum or diamond ring forum. If people are interested in other company's ethics and history, there are plenty of other places to learn about it. Deflection at its finest.

What's really odd to me is that you're obviously someone that knows the value of keeping their word as your Feedback reputation is impeccable.

That's typically my reason for walking away for a time. Most of the guys here can't let it be about the topic. They have to go into personal attacks. And it get's old and boring. So I'll eventually drift off. And if something parks my eye (like the DBK video) I'll be back.

Zealot is not an insult. It's like the word Fan... which is short for Fanantic. If it upset you... I apologize. Didn't call anyone a pig. And I can't remember using the word "hater"... maybe I did... but how's that an insult... you guys do hate SK!. Isn't that just... accurate? Disliking SK! is worth a post or two. But you don't NEED a $400 knife so you definitely CAN take a minute to make sure your discretionary income isn't supporting thieves. It's obvious that you don't care. Just own it.

I purchased the tool I wanted. I don't expect you accept anything. I expect you to make your own choice. But this selective moral outrage is hollow and threadbare. Because you likely practice what you preach far less often than not. And the hyperbolic rage-porn overflowing virtue signaling nature of this thread is why it has little credibility any longer. You've got a few converts and disciples... all churches do... but it's ultimately meaningless in the grand scheme of things. Them's the breaks kid.
