Taking a company to court for 300 bucks is incredibly time consuming and stressful. I have had to fight for far more money and after fees and time lost it became a nightmare.

A far better solution is to don't do business with Ponzi schemes and share the word to unsuspecting potential customers.
Indeed. And this is what the small time con-artists banks on. Each individual won't really do anything about survive ripping them off, legally. The only way to really fight the conman is to spread word about what they do. This is why the misinformation campaign survive constantly fights (look guys, we've turned it around!), including with our resident shill, is so important to bringing in new customers. The uninformed are the key to the con.

I waited five years for my Randall 1-8" because I really wanted one, but that will probably be the last Randall that I order. I'm not waiting for a knife that long anymore.

They might. There have been times when they charged a fee and or banned you from ordering again. There have been times when it was impossible to get a refund. There have been times when it took months to get refunds. There was also the time paypal froze all their assets with them because of the amount of refund requests and paypal wanted to ensure there was money for all those and future requests.

It is a complete crap shoot and what happened in the past along with what is happening now, means nothing as to what will happen in the future. Survive lies and does what they want. They could also fold up tomorrow.

My advice is get a refund now and spend your money with decent hard working non-con-artists. Way to many good companies and makers out there than to lend these scammers your money.

Randall was up front about your wait time and didn't require full payment. Survive is not and they do. Huge difference.

All my posts are relevant to what S!K is currently doing. I keep saying many of the same things because S!K is still providing inaccurate information regarding when orders will be filled, infrequently answering the phone or replying to emails (according to many MANY frustrated customers) and making it challenging for customers to get refunds. They also are still taking orders for knives that are not complete, despite saying multiple times that they were going to stop doing that. It has been almost a decade since S!K started their business, and they continue to have many of the same issues / do many of the same things.

I would get a screen capture of the shipping timelines so you can reference if it you need to involve your credit card company. It probably wouldn't hurt to get something in writing to the credit card company too.

By "give a hard time" you mean ignoring their request for a refund until financial institutions had to get involved and charging a "restocking" fee on knives that were years away from being made, if ever. And threatening to ban people who cancel from ever being allowed to order again. What a joke.

You do not know this. There are numerous recent social media posts from customers that are having a difficult time canceling orders.

On 10/18 of this year on FB a customer posted "Since you won't answer my calls, tell Jasper to cancel my 10 month old order of a 2.7" and send me a refund. NOW!" I will not waste my time finding more, but there are other similar posts.

I've commented multiple times in this thread about the appearance of shady and misleading business practices by Survive! including selling preorders then selling factory seconds before those per-orders are fulfilled. I've offered explanations such as Survive! gambling on the fact people who waited 6 years will wait 7 so they can sell new orders for more money while very slowly fulfilling the old orders.
