Bad Survive! Deserves A Permanent Post In The Hall Of Shame

I mean...he kinda did get away with it. Dude didn't do a single day in jail, or make whole any of the people who were scammed and promised knives that would never be delivered, sooooo....🤷

Dudebro grabbed his bag, packed his stuff, and left, letting the creditors fight over what was left.

Guy was/is an extreme POS. He burned so many folks, and I am sure made many hesitant to order knives fully paid in advance.

There are a handful of makers I would gladly pay fully in advance because they are great to deal with (but they have not required it).

There are so many decent, honest makers out there, and we should support them as much as possible. Crappy interactions only make me appreciate the good ones more.
 
Don't forget the diehard super fans that were here and the other social media platforms that whipped up interest. I thought his designs were functional and decent however the rest of it was just hype. You go back and look through their now closed forums here you can see waaaaay too many people that were happy to be apologists for "Perish! Knives" and just kept on telling others to "stay the course". Some saw the light and some went down with the ship so to speak.

I think it boiled down to you would in theory get a nicely finished knife in a premium steel at a cheaper price than anything similar on the market, unfortunately it was a game of roulette in terms of whether or not you actually would receive the knife. People who tried to compare them to a CPK or something like that were smoking crack.
 
Man im so glad I came to this forum in 2018 to look up survive. Saved me.

To all those waiting for a Survive knife there is some hope. Guy was seen stealing Elon's Rocket and heading to the Atlas Metor at a break neck speed. His final words was he was going to get this ore and have them forged by the dwarves Sindri and Brokkr. It is rumored that anyone that gets this Super GSO will in fact have the powers of Thor if he be worthy. Of course no refunds are offered for the past as you are going to get a new blade as soon as they are done in a different steel just as before and the shills that said wait, wait, wait and you will love it can rejoice over getting a free knife.
Guy wants to know ahead how much steel to get as flying to Atlas is costly but you have a chance to become Thor and this is well worth it. So send money to Guy and get your chance to summon the bi-frost and battle Surter and Loki with your new Super GSO. This is what he sold the public but with a different story and I feel sorry for those that didn't listen. To the people that shilled for Survive on FB Superfans I hope you know you helped a crook steal from people. I warned people for a long time about the decline of Survive. No excuses made except Guy is a lazy crook.

He took surveys on how much people would send in and if they would wait at a certain price if it were cheap enough to do the pre orders.
 
I was one of the lucky ones. After a two year wait I asked for a refund and got it. They tried to convince me to wait because the knives were almost done. I declined. Two years later they still never shipped.

Talk about great foresight. Luckily I got into the knife scene post fall and never had an opportunity to lose money.

It's an expensive hobby. The difference is, in most cases, you'll actually have a knife in your hands to lose money on. 😆

No idea about Guy or Ellie. I just looked up HST on Youtube and he hasn't posted anything in 6 months. I'm guessing he's also avoiding people since he can't deliver knives either.

Honestly, I expect Ellie probably met someone else and moved on with her life. Guy, that dude is probably thankful that outside of the relatively small corner of the internet dedicated to knives, no one knows who he is as long as they don't Google his name. HST, that dude has probably left the internet entirely after how badly he screwed up. I don't feel sorry for him one bit.
