Bad Survive! Deserves A Permanent Post In The Hall Of Shame

I suspect that they will "fix up" all those bent blades or blades with inclusions and sell them as seconds, or worry they will pretend they are not the "bad" ones he complained about and even sell them as firsts. I doubt ALL of the past due preorders will get many of them, if at all. But a good plan would be to have a few oldies get them so they can shout, "I got mine after 5 years!"

Candidly speaking, this is the same BS that that scumbag Guy has pulled for years. There are no seconds. This is just a way for him to sell some of these knives twice, so he can put money in his pocket to pay his personal bills. I recall him defending himself in his sub some years ago when people asked why there were always these "Ugly Betty" seconds sales (as they have happened many times over the years, and apparently still continue), and he actually responded with some nonsense about how all his vendors tend to send him products with a 20% failure rate. Anyone who runs an actual business would just...heh jaykay, several people here who DO run businesses tore him up immediately for that, like "Wait, you had a vendor send you a batch of products with a 20% failure rate, and you didn't reject them and fire that vendor immediately after the first time this happened??!" A twenty percent failure rate is significant in manufacturing, in a world where these companies would consider 0.20% to be of huge concern. That means, if this dude got in an order of say, 1,000 knives, 200 of 'em were not good enough to be sold as a firstline product? What?

It's Guy lying, and pulling some number out of his ass, attempting to make up a neat story in order to double-sell knives. It's the same as it's always been.

Hey, I'm just trying to waffle enough with "allegedly" and "suspect" etc, to not be hit with a libel claim

So Survive is trying to trap more victims into sending money and now got a person that will do anything for a buck. I guess the two of them will work hard to strip money from anyone they can. Once again if you have an order please contact the DA in your region and in PA and tell your story.

Investing in S!K is like going to see a guy about a boat, but when you get there the current owner's got his kid bailing the water while he tries to patch the hull... then you buy it anyway.

This right here. The only failure rate here is Guys failure to run an honest business. I'm sure he gets a dud once in awhile but 4 blades out of 20? No way. How many "ugly bettys" are described as perfect? Does anyone reading this have a Betty they bought with a visible flaw? Mines long sold but it didn't. Looked just fine.. Nobody is disputing he can make an acceptable product but his delivery rate on promises made is so horrible that only a fool would risk it. If he'd quit blowing the incoming money , do some judiciously careful juggling and live bare bones he might be able to dig himself out of his self created mess but we all know that isn't happening.

Your numbers are off a tad bit gentlemen, it’s actually 30% 🤣

Here’s a partial quote of a long winded word salad post from Ellie.
We do not and have never purposely “produced” Factory 2nds or Ugly Betty blades. They are things we have come across as we are working on fulfilling our regular preorders. One of our past providers had let Guy know to expect that 30% of every production run wouldn’t be good, so those are part of that.

"Scam! Knives selling factory seconds again...I thought you were going to right the ship. Why wouldn't you offer these to your backlog customers?...oh yea, Guy needs more money. THEIVES!"

HST:
"I tried for months now to get things on track we had a big batch of factory seconds and I am sorry but either the business tanks and nobody gets their knives or we sell seconds when they randomly happen accidents happen and we stay afloat long enough to continue getting back orders out the door. But this isn't a perfect fairy tale world where money falls from the ceiling this is low power mode while we finish getting folks their knives which we have made great progress in. Have a good day."

I guess they have 30% of the stock to sell off.

Well, sounds like all our answers are right there. The business would fail if they didn't sell more knives rather than sending them to the people who have already ordered/paid for them, and Fat Guy Tactical is there to help keep the scam going. "Money doesn't just fall from the ceiling"...no, it comes from fully paid preorders that are never delivered.

What healthy company would ever issue a response like that?

I'd prefer the business tanks.
Chemotherapy makes the body sick, but it might cure the cancer.

So he confirms what has been speculated for years all the while the speculation was being denounced by the shills and fanboys.

If his response doesn’t prevent people from placing new orders I don’t know what will.

The red flags have been outrageous.

Here's my favorite; the PR piece that has aged so well.
"After just over six months of concentrated effort, Seiferd now happily confirms that the legendary backlog is almost done with." (December 8th, 2021)

I felt moved to reach out to KnifeNews.com

I mean, dude just admitted that they have to defraud people waiting for years and sell their knives to new customers in order to put money in their pockets. I sure wish Beashmaster could weigh in for us about his "good friend" Jon here's admission.

Accurate. I shouldn't feel this vindicated, I didn't need this inadvertent admission to understand the facts I've known for years...but it's nice to hear all the same.

His thread ban expires tomorrow.
Excelleeeeeent. I mean, realistically, I already understand how they're going to try to spin this. It's going to start with some "Well, do you want the business to faaaaaaaiiiillll???!!?"

Yes, yes we do. His guy was allegedly going to come in and start making all these changes and what is their very first action? Thousandth verse, same as the friggin' first.

Also, show of hands, who ordered a Scumbag! Knives knife hoping it was going to be made by some YouBoob knife reviewer? LOL So, to recap:

- Those decade old orders won't get their knives
- Those decade old orders won't get their knives in the steel they ordered
- Those decade old orders won't get their knives in the steel they ordered made by the guy they ordered them from

LMAOOOO

The comedy of errors and fraud continues.

I thought the reason for the partnership buy-in by HST was to infuse money into the company to keep the lights on in order to complete old orders and build new knives for more orders. Seems the "complete old orders" was not part of the plan.

That first sentence isn't very encouraging. Hasn't he been posting videos of the great progress they have made? Then he makes a statement that's contradictory to that?
