So he's not a part owner? Not sure how he's helping if he's not grinding or putting knives together. Maybe he's a supervisor just telling people to get to work.

This wouldn't be shocking from anyone associated with or supportive of Survive.

Helping with the backorder could mean anything from lending some cash to assembling knives to packing and shipping...not that it seems that department would be overwhelmed. If he's claiming not to be an owner I'd think a loan is a likely scenario.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he came on to “help” and now that he’s invested, he was floored by the real numbers and he’s in over his head. He looks like a fairly young guy, and maybe not as world wise as he thought.

Or Survive is being deceptive again, and Guy isn’t actually in control anymore to potentially avoid legal issues. A la Red Jacket Tactical changing ownership to Meaux’s Guns.

I am 99% sure @HeavySetTactical409 said he was part owner in a video. Jacob 100% said it in his video and the comments.

All joking, and all "getting cheap and easy digs in" aside, I fully expect that he'll probably not come back here at all. I mean, he did make a video that basically made all these assertions, based on what his "good friend" HeavyGuyTactical apparently told him, sure. And yes, he did come in here and show his ass, making inferences to all this "behind the scenes" info he apparently had that we mere peasants couldn't have possibly had any inkling of. However, since he's not involved, it may be best for him to just eff off back to YouRube land and hope for his smalltime little channel to continue garnering those blistering viewership numbers*, rake in his small pittance in click remuneration, and stay out of it.

But that's just me.

The guy did apologize...maybe it's time to take your foot off his throat.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for holding the guilty responsible, and spent many years doing so...but there comes a time when a little bit of mercy which costs us nothing might be the better route.

Did he? I didn't see it, sorry I missed that.

In any case, as I posted above, all things considered he may want to step back and see what happens with all this. If Jon is already having to delete posts, or walk back claims he made, this is all going to resolve itself in short order, I'd expect.

El_Bribon was the one that apologized. I don't believe Jacob did. I think you and Quiet are talking about two different people.

You know what, you're right. I conflated the two, not knowing either outside of this sphere...which is dizzying in the scope of its dramatis personae.

I did hit antonymous and beachmaster with one week thread bans, which end tomorrow, and el bribon with a permanent one.

That said, I still think that taking the high road is the better path, regardless, but thank you for bringing the error to my attention.

I'll leave you to it.

To be honest, I am getting confused too. There are a lot of new S!K players coming out of the woodwork. It is getting challenging to keep track of who says what, where and when they say it. I thought it was confusing when it was just "The Starter Program" or Guy blaming the steel, but those appear to have been the good old days...

100% agree on the high road being the better path.

It's a couple years old, so I figure anyone who ordered after seeing that video...is probably wondering when his knife is shipping. (At a guess.)
