Mostly because SO much fraud goes on daily from car insurance/home insurance/medical etc that state attorneys (or even local) have to be extremely selective about what they prosecute. I think its something like 2% of auto fraud ends up even getting prosecuted at the state level...and thats even when the insurance companies are doing most of the work for the prosecution.What I don’t understand is why were they never charged with multiple thefts or fraud, and put in jail.
And considering the amount of people that they ripped off, I’m surprised that there was no class action lawsuit against them.
