Bad Survive! Deserves A Permanent Post In The Hall Of Shame

I saw the latest S! WIP <I use the"W" in loosest connotation possible> YT video a few minutes ago...the "factory" looks neat as a pen, zero signs of work being done, no noise, then they trot some jabroni on screen as a "new hire" after which he walks outta frame to collect his shill-fee, no doubt.

They'd probably secure a few more pre-orders if they would at least steal some steel shavings from a reputable maker and spread them around on the floor, have a guy pounding on an empty 55 gallon drum off camera with a ballpeen hammer, power up the screens on their mills, smear some grease on their shirts, muss their hair a bit...

They're not even trying anymore...
 
There you have it. Only the in-crowd got their beloved blades before Christmas. What about all those GSO 5.1 that were going to be finished by Christmas? CRICKETS??? Now look into the past when I said they don't have the steel for the knives then they go on a rant and say I and others are liars as they do have the steel. Why the upgrade to Magnacut from 20CV and CPM154 in the 5.1 if they already have it and spent money on it? The reason is they don't have it and this gives them the beloved excuses and excuses to drag this out and bring more money in. They troll here and kick people off their special Survive knife page but If anyone has access to it then correct me if I am wrong. A few people got their knives that always take up for them and the rest are left waiting and if you complain then piff your gone.
They punish people who are not even talking bad about them on their forum. Any company that employs tactics like that are criminals.

They lied again when they said they would start shipping the GSO 5.1 in Dec when they posted on their site they will be finished and shipped by Christmas. I love how they change their page after getting victims to send in more money. They will not have the new steel blades done in a few months either. If you are their loyal attack dogs then you will get yours. The price that you would go through to attack others just to get your knife that you don't need. I would rather have A2 in a knife that I can enjoy now while you wait for the knife you wish for 6 years or more and miss out on some great memories. This whole I gotta have the best steel to enjoy or survive is nonsense. A guy with O1 or 5160 can go out and do then why do you think you must have delta steel, magnacut, CPM this number ect... If you break knives all the time in the woods it is because you don't belong out there. A tool is meant for use and yes they do break but cut the crap on man I got this super steel therefor I will survive.

They have not even started on any GSO 5.1 from May 2016 that means they are still on the 2015 orders. Let that sink in before you want to order the new Magnacut steel knife from them in 2021.

Hey Survive you wish to troll me then how about this you provide a data spread sheet on the GSO 5.1 orders with their order numbers and completion rate. Where are the GSO 12, 10, 8, 5.1. TSK, and all the others too.

Cleanest shop ever for a team that sleeps and works in the shop all the time. Quiet too almost like everyone is always power napping on the job.

It may be because the intent was never to complete the task and at the end of the day 99% of the people got a refund and you finished the 1% then consider that you got an interest free loam and made money off the investments. Ponder this they just ordered a 1000 blade blanks to get treated at least that was what was in them boxes that were not packaged well. I am sure 8 times that were ordered in 2015 & 16. They are taking in the orders with the intent on only making less than 10% of the blades and they will tout themselves as smooth and efficient as they complete those numbers and hold another rally to fleece to public again with the lying stats they produce.

Yeah.... I can cut them some slack for the <lack of> noise. They COULD be doing this after they send their worker(s?) home for the day. Only Guy and Shane sleep there.
But I'd have to say, those machines look pristine. I've been around machine shops before, actual professional machine shops. It doesn't matter how much you try, once the machines start getting used, I've never seen them look that pristine. Even the hammer over this shoulders, hanging on the machine, looks like it has never been used. The adjustable wrenches? Shiny as he day they left the Chinese slave shop. And WTFH is Guy doing wearing a pristine Starbucks (??!!) apron. Not MARK on it. I'd believe Shane may have changed into nicer clothes than shop clothes for a YT video. But WTH did Guy do? Change into a nice clean Starbucks apron? WTH? And they picked up/showed a grand total of two knives. And a spare bud.

And don't think I didn't notice they f-ed up the grip on the 5.1. It's the same size of the handle on the GSO-6 now, which is a POS handle. Either that or Guy has baby girl hands. Nice work, Guy. You took what actually was a decent blade, and f-ed up the handle. Now IT'S a POS, too.

Their latest video showed a shill oh I mean a new worker who they have full faith in is why I said that but thanks for the clean machines that look like they will get returned or sold. As for the apron "Guy" has been wearing that thing in many of his videos and guess what it doesn't get any new stains either. Guy looks like a deer in headlights and the other guy is like I told you we would start shipping the 5.1 in Dec. No what they said is they would all be done by Christmas and then bingo after bringing in money back to the same ole crap. There are shills getting their magnacut knives before people who waited over 6 years. The only people who get their knives are shills on their fans page from what I use to see and it is most likely the same ole trick. The shills are always selling their blades and never seem to have an issue waiting days or weeks to get their knives while the common people get ripped off waiting years. They will compare themselves to companies that make custom knives that have a wait time over 5 years but they don't take payment upfront and they don't say we will be done by Christmas and you are still waiting 6 years later.

Something makes me wanna check in on Starbucks in ID to see if Guy works there. It is clear neither one of them is doing hard work at Survive on getting knives out. Million dollar smile and neat cut hair. Hell they should use their shop as a clean room as even dust don't get on them or the machines.
 
I use to hear that 2 years was not a long time to wait for a survive knife then it went to 3 and now it is 6 years being okay because somebody has those delivery times for a customer's blade.
Since G can't do math at all when it comes to honest delivery time I will listen to fanboys who come on here and say they actually waited 6 years.

Hey S. you in your latest video stated that the GSO 5.1 were suppose to start shipping in Dec and you were only a week off. No the truth is the 5.1 were suppose to be completed before Christmas.
Oh no not the by Christmas deadline again it is not like I haven't seen that one before. I guess G should have filled you in on that one. Or maybe he did and now your corrupt too.
When I studied Non Verbal Signs of Deception and watch you guys it like being in training all over.

God, their new video just comes across as a thin facade. The other guy (not Guy) mentioned a workshop floor full of knives at various stages- why not just show them?

Guy might be in the running for the second most robotic person on camera behind Zuckerberg. His reactions don’t feel genuine to anything. I would personally still be rooting for Survive! To be successful if he ever felt genuine in his concerns. It’s always looking toward the next project instead of the one they’ve already started. If this isn’t a con game, they have to be the worst business owners ever. It would be forgivable (barely) if they were heirloom knives with special custom touches or materials. But they are generic blades cut out en mass with slab micarta handles that simply bolt on.

Check out these goof balls at time stamp 5:10 in their video “we’ve been extremely resource constrained up until recently, we’ve been, from our perspective we’ve been delivering these things for free or paying to deliver them, that money was spent years ago......” he goes on to vaguely reference how the “funds went away” as if the pre-order money was a stray cat that just left town on its own.

The owner says they are “set up for a really sweet 2022”. They “have a lot of exciting things right on the horizon”.

Ok, sure pal, where can I send my money?!

Side note - I find it annoying when people get their hair done for a YouTube video.

Yeah.... I caught that. They really should have quit while they were (maybe) ahead, with the previous video. Or... maybe just never produce videos. They are exposing more of their lies.

With the way things are going, I'm beginning to wonder if this Shane dude was cut loose from Millett because of ethics or something. It really seems he is perpetuating the lies of Guy. It would be so simple to prove any of the things said on here wrong, by just turning the camera around and showing the multitude of knives that are about to go out. It seems so obvious, that by them not doing it, it would seem to prove their lies.
