Survivorman and Helle knives collaboration knife.

Here's some close-ups of that photo. Maybe giving us some clue on the look of the knife.

helle makes very nice, very strong and very sharp knives. I , despite my love of military knives in the woods , would buy a Helle in a heart beat.

The proto's look good, assuming that's what they are. The swell is pretty far back from the blade though, which is a shame.

This maybe the first "TV Show" collab knife I buy. Helle does make some awesome knives and Les Stroud is the man. This knife will be awesome, and I like the one on the right.

This thread has really sparked my interest with the future of this offering. Can't wait to see what they come out with. The one on the right for me !

i think les is the comic relief of all the survival shows... i wish he would get a camera man so i wouldnt have to listen to 30min of him whining about packin the cameras around.. not saying he cant get by.. i barely watch his program anymore due to his whining and ive barely seen him have a real knife thus far... the best survival show knife so far is the blind horse knife designed for dave canteberry that he uses in dual survival

My computer screen is really dark.

The one on the right looks full tang, is the one on the left too?

Look nice.

Sort of a Woodlore crossed with the Fallkniven blade shape??

Looks like the tangs are full along the spine side, but on the finger side the tang is hidden. Probably makes for a more comfortable grip while staying stout too.

I don't have many production knives any more, but I've got two Helle knives (Leuku and modern Puuko). Both are outstanding. Thoughtfully designed and extremely useful. I think both are made from laminated steel--great edge holding for a scandi grind. I'm not a Les Stroud fan, but if he is working with Helle, I'm certain he'll design a good woods knife. I'm interested.

I agree completely.
The BHK Pathfinder leaves not much to be desired. Maybe an extended tang.
But the Helle protos look sweet also. Sensible (...compared to the Hawke Hellion ;)).
